Junaids, what can i say about this chip shop, this is my childhood chip shop, I went here growing up young, tean age, 20's & now late 30's basically all my life & I'm sure many of you watching are in the same boat as me where this has been your go to chip shop for more than 3 decades. Used this place years ago good friendly staff ,they used to do a good pizza and kebab on on nan was lovely. i popped in about 3 months ago for portion doner meat new owners and wont be going back doner meat was like cardboard

Old stool favourite 😍. I love the donnor Kebab here it from the Mc Turks brand in Derby, otherwise the food is spot on now.

Brilliant video. You need to try out Shimlas on Alfred Street in Birmingham. Their Chicken donners are pukkas.

I will go down soon insha Allah. I have had their chicken donner as a kid and teenage years as I used to go to Bradford, my cousin Nasser used to take me and my cousins there. The chicken donnor is pukka I agree 👍🏻 💯

When did they take over? 2019 I tried this place , had chicken chips. Wasn't impressed watered down chilli, fried chicken leg was dead, dry. Chicken was missing half the coating

November 2022 they took over.

Chicken and fish probably the worst thing to try. They leave the food in heated cabins so it stays warm. That leave them dry and without flavour.

@mrama405 It depends how long they leave it for. It tastes good when it's fresh but since these places aren't known for their chicken as such they tend to leave them in there for hours causing the batter to dry up and the chicken to dry out.
