This Rzr 800 needed some much needed love all over. Started out by doing the 10.25:1 Wiseco Pistons and Rebuilt the head. Also went through the whole exhaust to seal it up and flow as it should. Everything turned out great and cant wait to see how it runs on the trials now.

Very good video, can't wait to see him in it. Do you use a stone hone or bead hone on the cylinders, and also on the exhaust studs is it OK to use brass nuts? I am waiting until winter and I'm going to do the top end on the arctic cat 700 mudpro of my wife's. It smokes under throttle, so I am just going to freshen it up . again great video

I have a 2003 Suzuki eiger 400. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to it. I'm trying to slowly make into a mud bike.

Did you have to lap your valves? Thinking about reworking my top end and was curious.

In the process of rebuilding my 2002 sportsman with a 850 motor like this, is it a real pain to put those inner wrist pin c clips when your putting the cylinder back together?
@Solitude313
@Solitude313 5 лет назад
Im not sure I have never done it because there is no need. Just put the Inners in ahead of time. Not much room to work with once the pins are in.

when using the same cylinders do you hone it or use it as is
@Solitude313
@Solitude313 5 лет назад
It just depends on the condition, always try to Hone if not Bore it out.

I have a 2008 rzr 800 and am rebuilding my top end and found a wiseco piston kit and is a 10:2:1 compression ratio and a 76:50 stroke and 80 mm bore is this the oem size and compression ratio or is there any numbers on my engine that will tell me the specs ?
@Solitude313
@Solitude313 4 года назад
It's an 80mm bore. I always run the 11:1 on everything if I'm replacing. The H.O. and Rzr S all use 11:1.

SolitudeCustoms ok do I need to do anything special ? Like higher octane fuel ect
@Solitude313
@Solitude313 4 года назад
Nothing special really. I try to run 91 in mine. Especially the X2
@wrenchology922
@wrenchology922 5 лет назад
Was the big bore a noticeable improvement?
@Solitude313
@Solitude313 5 лет назад
I'm not sure, I actually never drove it haha. This is not a big bore though, it was stock compression. Just a freshen up.

U ever done a top end on a rzr1k with the engine on the bike like that ? I’m thinking about attempting it I’m just worried about getting the pistons in the cylinder without breaking multiple sets of rings. Thought about putting pistons in and then connection them to the rods like u did but u didn’t show much of a pain in the ass it was lol
@Solitude313
@Solitude313 5 лет назад
I actually havent but it's the same style so yes you could. With those cut outs it's super easy to compress the rings and unless you just do something completely wrong you wont break the rings.
@djnemesis82pluss1877
@djnemesis82pluss1877 5 лет назад
SolitudeCustoms so u think it would be possible to do it the same way on the 1k? I’m thinking about trying it on my 900 first since it’s easier to get to the motor cause bed comes right off and it’s fucked up toooo lol
@pcmcobra

what was compression after new parts?
@Solitude313
