John Cryer starred as Teddy Zakalokis, a new employee of a Hollywood talent agency in this series that received three Primetime Emmy nominations, and won for best supporting actor (Alex Rocco, whose character also made an appearance on "Murphy Brown").
Despite the accolades, the series was canceled by CBS after 15 episodes (leaving five unaired on the network), due to low ratings. The entire series was later rerun on Comedy Central and the now-defunct Trio network.
The pilot episode, which as also served as the first episode of the series, originally aired via then-CBS affiliate (now Fox O&O) WAGA-TV in Atlanta, GA. Commercials were included.
