I read somewhere in the World Tour wiki that Heather has fantasized about becoming queen of the EU. Which might mean she’s the reincarnation of either Napoleon Bonaparte or… a certain other dictator.

I do wonder if perhaps Gwen might be the one contestant who is not a reincarnated soul from Hell. Compared to all the other contestants, she comes across as very normal and well adjusted, she's one of the only OG contestants whose audition tape we never see, and apparently she only applied to the show due to other people (I can't remember if it was siblings or friends) encouraged her to. My theory is that Gwen is not a hell-bound soul, but was set up by someone who is; this person (either a sibling or friend, again I can't remember) saw through the military's plan and, under the assumption that the show was meant to feature ALL the escaped souls, feared that they would be hunted down if they didn't find a patsy. So, they made Gwen send in her application, and used their magic influence to make it appear as if Gwen was one of the lost souls. At some point during season 1, the military realizes their mistake of course, but at this point Gwen has become a fan favorite on the show, beloved by both viewers and other contestants; they can't just remove her, but her mortality makes her problem. As such they only have two options: kill her or protect her. Which one of the two they ended up going with can be up to interpretation. They might have even experimented with both. I think the best case for killing her was in the fear challenge episode, where Gwen's challenge was to be buried alive, and it just so happens that the only person keeping tabs on her was scared off by his own fear. Even with the breathing tube, the stunt could have easily resulted in Gwen's death, which could have been ruled as an accident, but she managed to survive. When it comes to protecting her, I think the biggest proof is what happened with the love square surrounding her, Trent, Duncan, and Courtney. Gwen and Trent's relationship seems stable, aside from Heather's meddling in season 1, and Gwen and Duncan only seems to be friends in season 1 as well. But then when season 2 comes around, Trent suddenly becomes obsessive with Gwen (as well as the number 9) after they're no longer on the same team. If all these people (except Gwen) are hell-bound souls, what does that tell us about a guy who becomes obsessive with his girlfriend after some distance is put between them? Trent might not have been as big a monster as Jack the Ripper, but his previous self must have done SOMETHING to end up in Hell, and his behavior seems to point in the direction of being an abusive boyfriend. So, the military gets Chris to use his powers to interfere, something Chris delights in as it will allow him to create even more drama, and with Trent gone as quickly as possible in season 2, Chris arranges for Gwen to end up with Duncan who, while still a sinner, is at least not a danger to Gwen. This not only creates more drama as mentioned above, but also carries the bonus for Chris of hurting Courtney, whom he severely hates.

Honestly, I'm just curious as to who you think is inhabiting the other contestants and why they need to be punished. You said Izzy is her great grandmother, Mavis, Ezekiel is Jack the Ripper, and you pointed out how Owen's gluttony is part of his connection, but I'm just interested to know what you'd make of the others, especially someone like DJ who, in and of himself, seems perfectly innocent and well-meaning.

I usually disagree with these 'Hell' theories but this one has actual evidence and feels legit in this show s lore. Great Theory! Not that I expected anything less.

Hey Theorizer could Izzy's great grandmother be Jack the Rippers daughter. The timeline makes, sence, since she could have been born at the start of the 20th centry and It would make, sence that Jack would excape to Canada, which was apart of the British empire and it is far away from the people looking for him. It would also explain why their reincarnations have similar abilities

Alejandro and justin are lust! Then I feel like Gwen had been a fallen angel (idk how to back this up) who isn't insane but sold her soul. Heather seems to be Chris's spawn like Maze in Lucifer. I also have quite a suspicion that Izzy is one as well. DJ could also be a fallen angel as his dream in the pizza challenge has a heavenly-like feel to it. Mal(mike) would be wrath because of Mal! Duncan could probably be the envy. And both Heather and Courtney could be sins of pride, and wrath!

In total Dramarama it reveals that Izzy is related to the military. I'm actually surprised you didn't mention that.

YES! I've been anticipating the release of this video since the Boney Island video came out! Heck, I've watched that video so many times over from craving your Total Drama theories that I've memorized much of the script!

I recommend checking out BHultra's second video on Total Drama after the one hour Izzy Conspiracy where he analyzed each Total Drama contestant. It could give some good insight into who each of the contestants were in their previous lives. Furthermore, it gives an interesting alternative to the idea that Chris is the devil. It posits that Beth's curse is real but different than what we think it is. It actually brings her great luck by absorbing the luck of everyone around her until it eventually runs out and gives her explicitly awful luck. The theory goes that Chris is continuously finding these totems on Boney Island to use their luck absorbing powers. However, how would he carry those around inconspicuously, you ask? Well, perhaps by grinding them up and putting them in some accessory... Like a little bag... That he carries around his neck for unexplained reasons... It's a good watch.

Could the beg around chris's nack be an artifact that repels the curse or protects him for some reason, since he obviously committed plenty of crimes on camra no less and he always comes out of it almost unscaved almost like he is protected by some force.

Nice, I love the Total Drama Theorist saga. I don't know about the previous identities part, seems iffy. Some of the characters can tap into past lives, or have alters... Izzy might be both those...but I don't think every last contestant is secretly some ancient demon. But I've only watched the first series. You may be right. I just need to see the connections with the characters that aren't so brazenly chaotic/evil. That said, even back then if you had told me the contestants sold their soul to the showrunner (possibly satan) for fame and are actually in purgatory, I would 100% believe you.

Ezekiel (Jack the Ripper): Envy Eva: Wrath Noah: Envy Justin: Pride Katie & Sadie: Lust (You may think of Lust as nothing more than just sex and woman, but in reality, Lust is about companionship and the yearning for someone who shares their way of living with one another) Tyler: Pride Izzy (A mirrored image of her great grandmother): A mix of Wrath and Pride Cody: Lust Beth: A mix of Lust and Pride Courtney: Greed (She's always ready to call her lawyer and sue someone) Harold: A mix of Sloth and Pride (He has talent, but he rarely uses it) Trent: Pride Bridgette: Pride Lindsay: Sloth Geoff: A mix of Lust and Pride Leshawna: A mix of Wrath and Pride Duncan: Wrath Heather: A mix of Greed and Wrath (She manipulates people to help her get what she wants and silences them when her plan goes according to plan) Gwen: Sloth Sierra: Lust (Because she is obsessed with Cody) Alejandro: A mix of Greed and Pride And for Owen? Well...HE'S ALL THE SINS PUT TOGETHER! He eats everything and anything that is or isn't edible like a black hole in space. Greed: He wanted the 10K prize money so that he could waste it all on a typical teenage party. Sloth: He sometimes sleeps through most (if not all) of the challenges he participates in. Wrath: He overreacts during the dodgeball episode and throws dodgeballs at the other team in a fit of rage and curses off Heather during one of his confessions with her still handcuffed to him. Envy: He always connects himself to Noah because he doesn't like him being with Emma and constantly boasts about it in front of his face. Pride: He's always yelling and partying like he's the center of attention and even throws a huge party to show everyone that he's the talk of the town. He even starts losing it when he wasn't in season 4, meaning that his regime for popularity has been foiled by the devil himself, Chris! I would do the Gen 2-4 cast, but this comment will be WAY too long. What do you think of each contestant between those generations and explain your reason for why after you replied.

Chris tricks Duncan to kiss Gwen on purpose because so Chris remember in season one that he what Heather did to Trent so he told Duncan to Gwen to make Courtney jealous and he mass up the bathroom door so Duncan can do that and London was a trap. Is it Duncan back into the show like he did with Owen in season two.
