Revelation 5, explained from a Biblical perspective. In this episode, Tom Bradford will be explaining a somewhat, rather overlooked connection between the Lamb and the Lion of Judah. Many Jews do not accept this, and they claim they are the exact opposite. Tom will also be addressing how Daniel and Deuteronomy, do intersect when we look at this prophecy in Revelation.

Yeshua is not a Levitical Priest but he is of the Melchizedek (Malki-Tzedek) priesthood. Hebrews chapter 7 will explain it some but it is a very long and intense study that goes back to Torah. Yeshua is the only one sacrifice that was worthy to bring back all the House of Jacob back together as one again and that's another one that has to be studied through the Tanakh and especially the Torah. We can and are required to study the scriptures but no one will ever understand all of God's word but Yehovah is a rewarder to those who meditate on his Holy scriptures. I've really enjoyed these teachings and am looking forward to the next one. Shalom Shalom

When has Yah ever accepted a “human” sacrifice? If so where are the instructions for this human sacrifice? When has he said “Romans” could offer this sacrifice to him? Where does it say it can be done outside in a common place?

Hé could’ve been traced back to Uriah’s family, from Bathsheba…..🕊. Then, David is the adoptive “father”, like Joseph was, for Yeshua. 🕊

Hi Tom! You have the gift of a Teacher, bringing out treasures from the Scriptures and making us search that bit deeper. The Lamb and The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Two Aspects of the Messiah, 'The Lamb of Sacrifice' and 'The Lion of Judgement', Isaiah 61:1-2, Psalm 110:6.

My brothers in Yeshua Mashiach, I need your help if it can be made available to me. I cannot find any discourse online regarding this specific subject and I am lost. Yeshua made it abundantly clear on multiple occasions that he expects his followers to do the best they can to adopt Torah, a few examples are Matthew 5:17, Matthew 7:13-14, Matthew 7:21-23, Luke 13:24-27... so then why in the world did Paul and the apostles contradict this NUMEROUS times in Acts? Some example are the "Great Debate" in Acts 15:6-21(24-29). I don't understand and my heart mourns deeply. Were these merely added by the church as a revisionist adaptation to what truly happened? How could this be if the Word is incorruptible? I need help... I need prayers for clarity.. please, if you are reading this, help me.

@whataguy2023 Jesus came for Israel first (Matthew 15:24, Mark 7:24-30). The Messianic Age could have begun during the 2nd Temple period but Israel was not willing to repent (Matthew 23:36-38). Israel rejected Jesus (John 1:11). And salvation then came to the gentiles as a result (Romans 1:16->Acts 28:28). God’s plan the entire time was to use Israel to save the gentiles. Genesis 22:18-> Isaiah 49:6 -> John 4:22. Paul was then chosen to disciple the gentiles (Romans 11:13, Ephesians 3:1, Acts 22:21). Paul received his instructions directly from Jesus (Galatians 1:10-12) when he ascended to Heaven (2 Corinthians 12:1-6). Hope this helps!

@johnmann8659 Forgive me, but it doesn't. If we were to assume that Yeshua had no knowledge of future events(which we know is not true) then I could understand but He knew full well from the moment of beginning his ministry that His Words would be neglected by the Jews and then would come upon the gentiles. So how can I accept that in the passages I listed(aside from Acts) that he was speaking to the Jews only? He knew the gentiles would be grafted into the olive tree(Israel). Now, If I, an American move to Russia but remain in my American ways and follow only American Laws, I'll be thrown in prison pretty darn fast, that wouldn't be me grafting into that society very well. I don't understand how these things can be reconciled. The scripture you've provided, as grateful as I am to your help, in my eyes and my heart has not done anything to address the core of my dilemma of clarity. And to boot, not only did he know ahead of time everything about the gentiles but he knew, even then, that me, in this hour would have this very question, God doesn't mis-speak his knowledge is perfect of and for all time. So, there must be a solution I am not seeing. Is your suggestion that Paul and James' word overrides Yeshua's? And if it does, why do Christians follow the 10 commandments but at the same time order rare steaks when they go to Outback Steakhouse? I'm sooooo confused.... and I should add, when I say follow Torah, I am not by any means suggesting that following Torah is my salvation. Salvation comes from Messiah alone. But are we not to honor Him and His sacrifice by doing the will of our Father in heaven as instructed? His sacrifice was the sacrifice to end all sacrifices, not the sacrifice to upend the Will of the Father(Law). No? Am I mistaken?

@@WhatAGuy2023 Forgive me, but it doesn't. If we were to assume that Yeshua had no knowledge of future events(which we know is not true) then I could understand but He knew full well from the moment of beginning his ministry that His Words would be neglected by the Jews and then would come upon the gentiles. - Of course he knew. It was prophesied that he would be rejected (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus had to be rejected to provide the atonement needed to begin the New Covenant (Ezekiel 16:59-63, Luke 22:20) after the Old Covenant was broken (Deuteronomy 31:16, Hosea 8:1, Jeremiah 11:10). But after Jesus had resurrected and was seen by many (1 Corinthians 15:3-8), the nation still did not repent. So how can I accept that in the passages I listed(aside from Acts) that he was speaking to the Jews only? - Jesus was speaking to Jews only. Matthew 15:24, Mark 7:24-30, Romans 1:16. He knew the gentiles would be grafted into the olive tree(Israel). - Right. Israel's rejection of Jesus was meant for good (Romans 11:11-12). The gentiles were strangers and outside of Israel's covenant before Jesus was rejected (Ephesians 2:12-13). Is your suggestion that Paul and James' word overrides Yeshua's? - Absolutely not. James discipled the lost tribes as he was told (Matthew 10:5-6 --> James 1:1). Tradition says James went to Spain (Camino de Santiago) to disciple the lost tribes there (Obadiah 1:20-21, Isaiah 60:9). Paul was told what to say to the gentiles (Galatians 1:10-12 --> Galatians 1:16-17) during his ascension to Heaven (2 Corinthians 12:1-6). Paul carries a unique message (Galatians 2:2, Romans 2:16). And if it does, why do Christians follow the 10 commandments but at the same time order rare steaks when they go to Outback Steakhouse? - Christians are free to eat whatever they like (Romans 11:13 --> Romans 14:19-21). The Jews are not (Leviticus 11 --> Acts 11:7-9). I'm sooooo confused.... and I should add, when I say follow Torah, I am not by any means suggesting that following Torah is my salvation. Salvation comes from Messiah alone. - The Torah's commandments do not apply to non-Jews (Psalm 147:19-20, Romans 2:14). Rather all instructions as told by Paul are binding because he was assigned to non-Jews. See verses like Colossians 2:16-17 and Acts 21:25. Stay according to your birth (1 Corinthians 7:17-18). But are we not to honor Him and His sacrifice by doing the will of our Father in heaven as instructed? His sacrifice was the sacrifice to end all sacrifices, not the sacrifice to upend the Will of the Father(Law). - Jesus bailed his nation out by providing the atonement needed to begin the New Covenant (Ezekiel 16:50-63, Luke 22:20). Blood is what atones for sin (Leviticus 17:11, Hebrews 9:22) and God was not accepting Israel's sacrifices; he was rejecting them repeatedly (Jeremiah 6:20, Amos 5:21-22, Isaiah 1:11-17, Malachi 2:8-14). Jesus will restore the Temple and sacrificial system for Israel after returns (Zechariah 14:1-5--> Zechariah 14:20-21). Jesus will restore all things (Acts 3:19-22). Let me know if you need anything else. Hopefully I explained that well enough.

Shalom, John wrote Revelation in Jewish Cryptic language. This is in keeping with what Abba said of the sun, moon, and stars (star as defined in the past not present) and also the way of the prophets of using cryptic language. As this series goes on this method called astronomical dating will become more easy to understand so much that believers of first century understood what they had been given was Yahshua exposing the apostate church that in the next few centuries would become the defacto Christianity up to present day. The one who sits on the throne refers to the Constellation Cepheus, the scroll refers to the Constellation Libra and points to judgment like the one in Daniel 5 "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN", the Lamb refers to the Constellation Aries. The sealed scroll refers to something that has passed meaning an event in our past but more importantly John's past as well as referring to the Jewish New Year. 7 horns and 7 eyes refers to the 7 planets. 24 elders refers to division of the sky into 24 parts or 24 hours. The Levites never played harps to teach they did shows foolish understanding the Levites played the lyre which is not the same as a harp which points to gentiles not saints. Despite Christians so adamantly teaching there will be a third temple built before Yahshua's return the prophets including Yahshua and his apostles taught this was not going to happen, no matter how much certain groups may want by both Christians and Jews. Dan 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. Dan 5:26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. Dan 5:27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. The thing to remember when reading the Exodus account and the covenant of Israel is this also includes gentiles who not only came out of Egypt but chose to make YHWH their God and they would not be strangers among the Israelites nor would they be soujourners but would be assimilated into the tribes of Israel that when they enter the land their are only israelites. This is a microcosm of what would happen centuries later under the renewed Covenant brought by Yahshua. Exo 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. Exo 12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. The teaching that only Levi would be priests is only scriptural if you ignore what came before which is YHWH says "you shall unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation" to which the Israelites affirm "All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD" now we know later that because of their transgressions involving the golden calf all but Levi are disqualified but that does not mean the covenant between YHWH and Israel ended, no it just means when the Israelites put an end to their transgressions they will once again qualify to be among YHWH's kingdom of priests. This restoration of all the tribes to being priests of YHWH also explains how Yahshua not being from the tribe of Levi but the tribe of Judah can even be called a priest, because he is the first non-Levi to meet the qualifications of being a priest of YHWH. While almost the entire book of Revelation is either quoting or alluding to parts of the OT/Tanakh they should not be dismissed as being completely symbolic, because the OT prophecies were not symbolic but literal as we know some have been fulfilled by Yahshua during his first coming. While OT saints lived in hope and may not have understood, NT saints no longer lived in hope but joy of the promises being fulfilled, so reminding NT saints what they already knew points to signs in Revelation pointing to something else. To suggest John did not understand what he wrote is foolish because even in the book itself he is given clarity about "the woman" also Yahshua promised that when he left he would send another the Ruach HaQodesh who would not only remind us which would include John the teachings of Yahshua but would teach us all things. This means either Yahshua lied or the apostles either did not have the Ruach HaQodesh or for reasons unknown all chose to ignore his teachings neither of which is true. It's only today the "learned" especially among Christians who have lived most of their life following the Christ of the apostate church, that instead of repenting have instead declared the apostles were ignorant of the true understanding in order so that even today Christians can perpetuate false teachings. Joh_14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. I do want to say "all things" does not refer to everything but would be better read as "all manner" or "all kinds" I mean consider how much time has been given to teach Revelation where it points and explains things already known about Yahshua during the time of the apostles, because they had been teaching NT saints the gospel and scriptures (Tanakh) unlike today where people are taught Revelation without understanding the gospel and scripture (Tanakh) especially when most of these teachers fall under Rev 14:9 and have not overcome which can easily be tested and seen to how they answer questions if they use theological evasion or theological shading they are not teachers even if they have taken or been given the name. Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, Examples include teachers who only use English meanings ignoring or dismissing Greek meanings of words translated from Greek to English such as the very name of the book itself Revelation in English means: revelation 1: an act of revealing or communicating divine truth or something that is revealed by God to humans 2 an act of revealing to view or making known or something that is revealed especially : an enlightening or astonishing disclosure shocking revelations or a pleasant often enlightening surprise This is the only understanding one can get from using only English from the Greek G602 ἀποκάλυψις apokalupsis ap-ok-al’-oop-sis From G601; disclosure: - appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation. This is the only understanding one can get using the NT H6172 ערוה ‛ervâh er-vaw’ From H6168; nudity, literally (especially the pudenda) or figuratively (disgrace, blemish): - nakedness, shame, unclean (-ness). This is the understanding one gets using the OT. As one can see only by including not just the Greek of the NT and Hebrew of the OT can the meaning of why Yahshua was allowed by Abba to share it with NT saints made clear. I mean if teachers get the very meaning of the Book title wrong how trusting can they be to get what comes after right.

Great! Jesús is like Joseph and like David the king. First He came like in Isaiah 53 and His good news go to the 12 tribes of Israel and those who received Him… a few perhaps at the beginning. How amazing in JesusChrist the Messiah all the world began to worship the One triune only Creator, Lord and God. Also, like the Psalms tells you He will rule like David destroying the enemy; bringing justice and peace, love and…. Wonderful. I see the connection between the lion and the sheep; the Messiah is both and intercesor and a mighty warrior.

I find there are a few reasons for finding Paul difficult to understand. 1)translation is not always great 2)Paul was a lawyer speaking on rabbinic law and Torah Law. We're not always sure which one he is referring to. 3)if Paul seems to say anything that contradicts scripture, the foundation of our faith, know this, it's either lost in translation, mis- understood or... Just as the early scribes and pharisees made their own rabbinic laws, so the church over time has done exactly the same. They too have added to or subtracted from God's Word to form a religion that looks nothing like the faith of Avraham, Yitsak and Ya'akov. I have found a series called "The difficult words of Paul" by Olive Tree Fellowship very helpful in trying to understand what Paul was saying. Even Peter mentions that Paul was difficult understand... A fisherman V a top notch lawyer 😅.... But both led by the Spirit of the Living God, both came to the same conclusion. We need God's Word and the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding to live the life He has called us to 👣

That is just the beginning of the difference in language. There is so much understanding comes from studying even basic Hebrew. The depth of Gods language is miraculous.

Deutronomy says that God "orders" the lamb to do what he commanded. This certainly belies equality. Also Philipians 2:6 confirms this but many seem to want to cling to the unscriptural notion of equality between God and his son. Is anyone equal to their son? It makes no sense to continue to believe this.
