KieKie haba that lady with the "Skulls to situate" outfit is perfect for the occasion. This is an African event and that outfit speaks volumes. Just a thought
The way I ran from Instagram to this place ehn..I've missed this show baje❤❤ Bet Arin ki lo wa larin aso e yen", "many many meh wa nle oo"😂😂,I just dey laugh throughout😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂..Kiekie,you are too good abeg..constructive criticism while being funny at it,weldone👏👏
I literally screamed so loud when I saw this video, I've missed shock show God knows😩 I so much love this woman, she's a whole vibe. What a very nice way to start my morning.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I was 2 days ago I commented on your FB page that I've missed fashion shock show and style review. More grace ma'am. I LOVE YOU!!!!
I think the skull on Ifu's dress signifies the brains behind the movies and the Bull on Toyins dress signifies strength..Consistency requires some kind of strength and the AMVCA and all the movie makers have shown alot of Consistency and strength all these years..Lol!! This is how I try to make sense out of these outfits..
Abeg don’t say this thing. Come on be realistic it looks so annoying. It’s not an Halloween show. Most wore complete nonsense. How does skull represent any brain on a dress??? Black skull??? Abeg let’s not say that thing Biko. I invite you come movie award you all dressing like an you coming for a cosmic party abi circus show
Lol Abeg how does skulls represent brain behind the movies? Did ifueneda say that? All she did was insult and broke shame people that critiqued her look rather than explain the thought behind the look.her look was not appropriate to the AMVCA period! Maybe another event but not AMVCA.
Exactly my dear.. I wonder why people don’t like the dresses.. that Toyin Lawal and the skull 💀 dress are simply the best there.. fashion has passed wearing simple Asheobi gown to AWARD NIGHTS.. Fashion should have inspiration.. if u watch all these MET GALA and GRAMMY AWARD SHOWS.. you will see how people make dresses out of inspiration. Na only asheobi dress all these celebrities sabi.. And this Kiki girl is just talking rubbish. She no even know fashion. If u don’t know the inspiration behind peoples dress.. then don’t talk. If you don’t like it, others like it.
I've missed your fashion shock shows ooo. I knew you wouldn't let the atrocities on the AMVCA red carpet slide. Kie kie abeg do style review too o, let's review the beautiful looks.
I miss you Kieks mama🙌🏽 You don’t how long I’ve been waiting for the Shock Show. I miss your accent oloun🥺, the choice of comic words😂😂😂😂😂 I miss you bajebaje!
Kiekie I wish I could record voice note and drop some memes. You got me laughing 🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣. This is the best fashion police documentary I have ever watched in Nigeria. You killed it. I watched it over and over again. Well done ma. Best drama:Goat Best comedy: elephant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 How dare you say to that about our kingqueen herself🤣🤣🤣. Is all good though. Love u
I love watching your reviews it's quite fun and I especially like your view on some of the star's fashion styles. The dress is not made up of skulls, but faces which represent ( in my opinion, I believe represents) the different faces in film, television and entertainment, I love her to look it's quite fun and artistic and uniquely herself which makes it beautiful
Like she said the artistic approach to the dress isn't bad but not for an award show like the amvca,I personally felt it was just too extra. That dress could go for a specific art themed event or gala,an art exhibition,or an art festival,a Halloween themed event like kie kie said I also feel like they could have channelled the whole artistic idea with the dress some other way that would communicate their message to people viewing the outfit and would have made a beautiful dress still without all of that plenty plenty extra extra
@@jefferyedwards5375 Thank you for your comment. You are not wrong in your analysis and your points are very interesting, however, it is good to understand the artistic direction or ideas before you judge an artwork or design. If you read my comment carefully you will see that I am not stating whether the dress was right for the award show or not but that the comment that skulls have nothing to do with the awards and the dress. The dress is embellished with faces or should I say sculptures of male faces and knowing the designer and watching her creative process, I know that they were there for a reason. I love to see something different and unique that has a perfect balance with the occasion on the red carpet and the dress did it for me. Now in terms of whether you or anyone else feels the same way or not is up to you and your personal opinion and that's what makes us humans and individuals with different views and ways of seeing things. It doesn't make it right or wrong. I love the work Nigerians and other African designers are doing and how creative and experimental they are in thinking outside the box and creating masterpieces and it would be a shame if we don't take our time to research and understand why they did it. Also being creative in a unique way and being innovative and thinking outside the box should not be reserved for a specific occasion.
@@ed7169 your take on the look is based off of what you think the creator is trying to portray and another person can see a whole different perspective and not agree with you. This doesn’t mean the person doesn’t get it or appreciate the art. Or that the person didn’t research or bla bla bla. It simply means his view is different and might be right or wrong. The point kie kie is trying to make is, the artistic approach is great but the skull could have been represented by sthg else that will key into this particular show…yea the artist knows his work best but people don’t have to dig for gold before they get your message either.
I hope people know this is her perception, it doesn't mean it is the ultimate and has no way near ultimate or conclusive. Yes, some of her diss were right as they are common sense not acceptable dressing but a lot more were plain not generalized. They were just perception based.
Been laughing all through, most especially on the part you said - "Instead of seeking caution, why didn't you seek safety" You are wicked oo, Kiekie. Hope you consulted these artists before stating your opinion on their dress on this fashion shock show? Make dem no curse you. But, you did well with this show. You really made me laugh all through.
Kiekie you should know that there was a theme for the AMVCA which was: Villain I feel so many people didn’t follow the theme at all I also feel that that was what Ifu, Denrele and the other one were going for but it was more of miss than a hit
Oluwakiekie, kilode!!! I laughed too hard with the "okun ime", and then the chicken one. Kiekieano, I had to drink water too as per, "oro yi pa omi mu"😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
I feel like Ifu Ennada’s outfit was supposed to capture the happy or sad faces of theatre 🎭🎭🎭 not skulls. The happy sad faces does a good job of capturing the idea of Movies or theatre although in an exaggerating way ….
Did Ifueneda say this herself? She should have explained the thought process behind the look but instead in her post on Instagram all she did was insult and broke shame people because they didn’t understand her look. Her look was artistic and creative Yes but it was appropriate for the AMVCA period
I'm sure the "caution tape" guy took inspiration from Kim Kardashian's Balenciaga caution tape look at the Paris Fashion week😂😂😂. Downside of being a celeb lol
They weren’t skulls in my opinion they were masks 🎭 remember when you’re acting you’re putting on a mask , a skull does not have such polished features 💀 and 🎭 see what she went for
😂😂😂😂😂nobody can tell me anything when it’s coms to this review thing…make dem live am for kiekie abeg , she too sabi I loveeeeet It a wrap in here 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭my stomachs hurt with laughter 😂😂😂
Madam kiekie let me correct you on the lady that wore the long dress with the masks . First of all they are masks and not skull, mask is a great representation in the art. It has been in use since the inception of art/acting.Masks were used for representation during the Grecoroman period when having a stage play.So to correct you it really goes with the function.
