Hello Lindsey, I have the same symptoms you mentioned when it comes to the LPR. Could you tell me if you had a gastroscopy and what did they find? Also how did you get rid of it?

I had an endoscopy and they didn't find any issues. I stopped eating dairy and gluten and then cured my SIBO.

@@highdeserthealth so there was no weak LES or anything like that..seems to me that you may have had easier way to get out of the problem. I was diagnosed with lower esophagael sphinchter malfunction but no hiatal hernia. Guess surgery is the only option.

@@hubertt9046 Oh goodness there are heaps of options before jumping to surgery. Vagus nerve exercises, trying Betaine HCl in case your LES is weak because of low stomach acid, evaluating your microbiome and seeing if there are issues there. Gut healing supplements like DGL, marshmallow root, aloe vera, slippery elm, etc.

@@highdeserthealth I wouldnt go on a full surgery, there is a procedure called ARMS that fixes LES. And btw how can I know if my LES is weak because of low stomach acid. I did try ACV and only got worse. I want to solve the cause and not the symptoms.

Hi Lindsey I constantly need to burp to feel an ease with my breathing … can this be GERD
@highdeserthealth

It could be a variety of things from GERD to SIBO to H pylori to taking in air when you drink.

i have exactly this problem especially when i exercise. gas constantly comeing up and i feel short of breath and sometimes yawn excessively. what relieves it is when the gas finally comes up and i burp it out i feel relief. i would say it is the sibo causing the gas and also avoid carbonated beverages cause you ingesting gas directly. also i have read this causes the lower esophageal sphincter to keep opening allowing contents to come up. it makes sense what this guy has said.
