Can anybody touch these twin turbo UGR Lambos?! They continually beat their OWN records time and time again. This time - taking the half mile record from 257.00 mph to 259.67! Thats right - 259mph in a HALF MILE.. It takes the brand new 1500hp Bugatti Chiron over THREE times as long to get up to the same speed!! Think about that! These Underground Racing Lambos are undeniably the fastest street cars on the planet!

where the rubber meets the road is what keeps all cars from performing better. take F1 racing for example... tires or tyres if you prefer is THE thing stopping these Lambos from hitting 280mph. at these speeds the tires simply start degrading exponentially. The Veyron mentioned in the description is a lot faster then it has gone, the makers themselves have stated the tyres are keeping it from its full potential. and dont expect to see tyre compounds anytime soon becoming that much better, theres no money in it for the tyre manufacturers. as if we had the proper compounds we could drive for years and years on n eset of rubber shoes.

It is not that tire manufacturers wouldn't make money selling better compounds, it's that no compounds physically exist that are better than what we have currently. The ragged bleeding edge of science can't replace the compounds in place. We can tweak what we have now to squeeze out better performance with ample tradeoffs, but you're never going to get worldchanging differences. Physics just simply won't allow it.

I love how a full interior normal looking street Lambo is able to take down a race spec GTR. Incredibly impressive. I don't think GTR's can hang with UGR anymore.

300-400K more expensive...? Clearly we are talking about different cars, this is a Huracan if you don't know. You act like anything with more than 6 cylinders should be beating the GTR...? Clearly that is not the case, considering the only thing I can think of competing with the GTR is the TT Lambo. I also used the word, anymore, which means clearly I respect their platform and realize how insanely fast they are, BUT, they genuinely don't seem to be able to keep up with UGR and their Lambos anymore. Just like I'd say the Lambos can't keep up with the GTR in the 1/4. Don't be such a sensitive fanboy bitch =]

Svtcobra60 lmao, that ending statement tho. But yeah for real. That gtr shouldn't be able to compete. I spotted 7 things in just the video that are illegal for street. So as far as stock level and street legal goes, the gtr has nothing but door handles for their resume... 😂 But as far as the 1/4 goes, simply put both cars on the same level. Same spec qualifying. Interior stripping, drag radials, twin chutes, carbon body, nitro tune, short pipe w/ no muffler... ALL of it. And then race them to make the 1/4 mile call. I'd say theyd be damn close next to each other. It'd come down to rear end down force and front end stability. Which the Huracan has the front end, but does it have the rear? So that's my 2¢.

You can buy and build a 2000hp GTR for less then you can buy a bone stock Huracan yea they are hundreds of thousands more expensive UR on there own website was selling used Gallardo X packages for 600k this is a new Huracan with a X3 package running a billet block this lambo is easily over 700k I don't know what you are so confused about. UR sends all motors to Proline Racing to be built do you have any idea and how much just that cost? Motors alone a V10 cost basicaly twice as much to build for the simple fact that it has almost double the amount of parts buying 10 pistons vs buying 6 pistons it all comes down to common sense at that point it has nothing to do with fanboy's it has everything to do with you be clueless.

Richard Holt flipped his Lambo years ago at well over 200 and walked away. Those cars are just as safe. Gidi, Mullet, Mo, Dustin, Stacey, Trust, Johan, Reza, Peter, Sebastian, both of the Fowler brothers, old savage Bob Helms, Eric, Grant, the list goes on of owners who drive their own cars, that's just what I remember.

timed it from the livestream car ran 0-259.66mph in 13.3sec now i have to say car was launching very good the entire two days ETS car did aswell i'm happy ETS & UGR can have this Healthy half mile rivalry and not get nasty like some other shops congrats to UGR and even ETS for some monster runs hope to see 261.6mph at Indiana in August

there was a 1300hp Huracan at Vmax200 that ran 0-100mph in 4.4 this car has 2700whp and probably runs it in 3.5sec to 4.5 sec especially since this car starts with about 1100-1700whp in 1st 2nd 1700-2400hp & 3rd 2500-2700hp and so on with all the other gears so the car could launch far harder if setup for it but yeah can't do that without overpowering these tiny street tires

so they only ran 259.96mph but interestingly i timed that run in 13.4sec 0-260 essientially in 13.10sec a 1/4 mile time at the Half mile at an insane speed.

@@joejay2876 Lol 2017 this was 2018/19 also no the lambo's stock weigh 3520 pounds without the driver and added parts the gtrs weigh 3650 to 3750 pounds with driver in so the lambo's weigh 3500-3800 pounds with parts and driver added and also the lambo's cost 600k the gtrs have cost more then 1mill due to the parts and them breaking the parts so much cause the gtrs are very near their limits power and tunning wise amazing cars but the parts are not advanced enough to take the power yet.

Rusted clutch together, wouldn't rev past 3.5k but that was because only one throttle body was working, and the twin kit was terrible so went ahead and made a new one, flex-fuel is now not working, and it made 557hp on the dyno with a guy who can't tune a twin-turbo lambo... Oh and it was previously on fire.

It really is crazy to think about how much more power and aerodynamics being correct and just everything it takes to go an extra 4 mph once you are already at 200 mph. Easy to say but a completely different ball game when it comes to actually doing it. UGR is the place that has got it on lock what it takes to do it that's for sure!!

Firstname Lastname is allowed, the higher elevation helps a LOT since there is less air/wind resistance. That is more important than the lower air/less power part of the overall equation. They wouldn’t put up the same numbers at lower altitude, or on a strip that was level.
