yes but you need supercar money, all of these upgrades aren't cheap, they are best of the best. And Thilo definitely isn't an average driver. That doesn't mean that you can get a Clio and send it thinking it would perform like this Cupra.
@@srdjanvideos No doubt. This heavily track modified hot hatch and Thilo must have spent thounsand of hours on the track. On the other hand car consumables must be costing a small fortune. Well driven as usual. This looked probably like one of the fastest fwd cars lap.

@@srdjanvideos true, in a different perspective, supercar money won't be enough to run a supercar on the ring as often as this ;) So this is probably still the 'cheapest' way to drive this fast by a good stretch, I know of quite a few e.g. GT3RS owners that do most of their track miles in a hot hatch like this.... Same is true for proper (and safe) road driving, you can do most of the speed possible with a good (modified) hot hatch/estate...
@@srdjanvideos Here what you are saying, and I own a 600LT brent.powell.37695 , and visited they ring in August this year, my 2nd visit, had some tuition with Luis from Apex , fast lap with Robert in the 620 R. The point I am making is the 600 LT, costs way more than the Cupra even with all the upgrades, the insurance excess is16k on mine , if I bin it , plus all the costs repairing barriers , recovery etc ,so you are always mindful that if you run out of talent it’s going to be very expensive,to extract the best out of the 600LT you need right up there interns of knowledge and experience especially at the Nordschleife. You can have as much enjoyment in a car costing far less. Took a fast lap in M3 E92, upgraded breaks suspension, and cup 2 tyres , it was brilliant total cost 40k. It’s eat to deploy extract 421bhp than 600bhp in the track.

I would not say No to a GT3 RS .. but as the main goal is to have fun, its not needed :9 so thats why i love this "underdog" vehicle :-D
@@xthilox That is why these race BMW M3's are so popular. It's the perfect package of midsized car, good horsepower, and awesome handling. That makes heaps fun and is serious fast around the ring.
He makes it look easy ! Friendly driver to. Even if you slow him down in a corner, he will still thank you for moving over. He has passed me more than a few times so i know this :D Lovely stuff misha !
My fave Thilo videos are when he gives rides to guys who have never been before, the guy who took his moped from S Korea, and a Spanish guy maybe? Seems like a really nice dude!

Misha, I’ve been a Thilo fan a little longer than I’ve been of yours. Thank you for riding with him and showing your fans one of the best drivers around the ring. We finally see what he looks like! For all you Misha only fans, Thilo is merciless out there and regularly sticks it to higher end cars.
This was a great lap, and who knows how much quicker he can go around the ring once he has his Project settled to his liking. Serious stuff. Have subscribed to his channel as well.

Oh, finally, it happended :D Been watching his uploads for some time now, he reaaly deserve to be on your channel. So fast, se respectfull and so fun to watch. Just a note, i'm used to watch the laps on his channel, with data logging on screen (incl gps speed). Here it is missing, so I had a look at the speedo. That is WAY OFF. It shows +240 on foxhole f.ex, that's 20 or so more than the gps speed on his own channel. Thx Misha and Thilo for the great content.

The inboard camera angles/vibrations, it appears as though the vehicle is very bouncy which from My p.o.v.; doesn't seem to settle with a 1 up 1 down control from the suspension take inspires confidence. Cheer's from East Van. B.C., Canada 🇨🇦

True Porsche-Killer! I like your car very much. But I have to keep mine as a daily driver. 🤷♂️ Everything that I could make lighter is lighter by now. It really is a rocket! i've been following Thilo from the Megane RS days :D .It was a bit sad for me that he moved from manual to padel shift but my God he is super fast and that Cupra is nothing but amazing. He gives porsches cars a run for their money :D
What an amazing car, handling is insane. Vids are good pointers as well for me building my own car, which I hope to take out to the Ring next year. Like the rear brakes, it's not about bigger is better, but balance between front and rear
SEAT was in the last years always a good choice for the money, when you want a sporty Hatchback. The setup for the base car is also done by Jordi Gene - brother of Marc Gene - and he does really a good job. With all that nice goodies build into this version that should be a really good performing car. ... as we can see in that video of course.
@@cgilM924 I don't think that ever a stock hot hatch was use to set e record... But for me definitely gonna be a new Cupra R, limited like the Megane TRF R.Because there is nothing betweеn Golf GTi and Golf R
Cool about the smaller discs at the rear. Always wondered about that because front drives have so much weight up front that the back wheels are barely touching the ground in heavy braking. Less weight too.
Finally, i was waiting for this one for a long time. i also follow thilo his videos ever since he had his megane rs. Good driver with a very high pace!
