Hi Alex - Well the Lotus cars are all SO SPECIAL to me as they are made at Hethel Norfolk - 10 mins from where I live - I drive past the factory twice a week - seen where Colin Chapman used to live. OK (brag brag !!!) but I actually see Lotus cars being tested on the roads some days - I spotted the Elite 1974 - they also do the testing for Tesla I reckon - This car would NOT be practical for an owner here (too much rain - Ha!) There is their own test track at the back - which I have been on when I had a Porsche - great fun !!! - All the best. What are the figures on it for acceleration - didn't catch that
