@@czdemak479 nah, for instance the gaia vengeance skin helps me aim better, maybe due to how thin the gun becomes comparatively, and elderflame and revear vandal makes it bad for me , my personal opinion.
Skins also help. If you feel a certain skin just doesn’t feel right, maybe the bullets don’t have a good impact for you, or you feel like you can’t shoot right, getting a different skin or running the default is always an option. For this reason, I can’t run RGX Vandal.
I'm actually gonna unbind the scoreboard. I usually do good but then I look at the scoreboard and notice that my teammates are starting to do better than me, then my ego comes in and I can't get any more kills or I keep pushing & die early without even doing anything.
In every match i actually only hold angles and wait for them to peak now when i saw this tip i didnt care about those things anymore so thank you for saying this tip im really thankful
I hate chamber, but since I started played him I realised one thing (as he has 2 utilities that don't grip your attention all the time), I started focusing more on aiming and trading than trying to use abilities. I have played a little better since then (getting betters scores, more MVPS and 25-39 Radiant Points), when I play initiators I usually perform worse, because I get so focused on gathering info and playing around my abilities.
My problem is that I am a one trick kj main. I have decent crosshair placement, but I never trust in my aim, I trust in my setups. Im scared to take aim duels because im scared of losing them, so I always play back and play off of my setup. I want to fix this and work on getting confidence. Any idea on what agents I should start playing?
Idk how but u wrote my life here I'm a kj main too with avg aim I just recently switched to deulists in unrated so that I'll engage more in fights tip fight every deul think of Opponent as equal but dont take deuls u know u will lose
Hey, maybe you could try Chamber? I know he got a ton of nerfs lately but he has a utility that is similar to kj (alarmbot), he can teleport out of a bad situation and all his other skills are made for offense. This is just a tip though, I hope you find your main agent soon
Am exact same way, I’m a heavy defense sided player, v scared to take duels and stuff. Instead of playing sentinel, try playing initiator. (In comp) it’s not exactly a duelist, but you have utility that helps engage in fights. I recommend picking up mainly Skye and Kayo (mainly since they have flashes to help you win gunfights) or run fade. Trying out all the initiators helped me get some confidence but still be able to provide good utility with my team. Also honestly just playing every agent in unrated will help you find what YOU like
facts, I think just having good aim will get you into plat but past that you need game sense and character knowledge for setups and lineups and whatev. I took a long break from the game and came back recently to diamond 3 and my aim SUCKED but I still contributed and carried my own weight with lineups and site setups, working on getting my aim back now hah
The only shortcut is to buy a good hardware, your development speed depends on how clear you see your monitor, dont expect a fast improvement playing on a pixelated monitor. Anyway if you have a decent hardware but struggling on aim, just keep playing. You will develop way faster comparing to those players playing on low end hardware.
very nice tips. i cant do that table clearing and vod review thing cuz i have a small table which only has my laptop and mouse. and that vod review thing, my normal fps is 40-50 and when i record it drops to 30 something. so it gets more irritating for my eyes. but about taking fights, yep i gotta do them more. thats why i started taking duelists more
can't win direct gunfights at all, my friends tag me along and of course im fighting people way above my level, it became more apparent in deathmatch since all of my deaths are via headshots and i can't even land one.
Yes but in deathmatches you have nothing else to worry about but your aim. This is why people ask "How come it's easier to aim in deathmatches versus in game?!" In a game it's different as you're clearing angles in real time, have a ton more to worry about, and reacting to how the enemy is playing the site / part of the map. Knowing how to respond to utility, enemy positioning, and using your own utility is important if you want to improve.
I have bad aim so first started to focus too much on utills (of agents that do damage like raze viper or any molley player) and then when I still could get any kills i started to spam arese or Odin. All that did was worsen my aim further. At first i thought playing the game long enough will just make me better. That's not true! I have been playing for 2 months and still loose vandal vs spectre fights(when I have vandal) I am going back to only vandal/phantom or spectre, no spam and pratice before game mode. Although I did get placed in iron 2 last act and then got to bronze 1 but I don't think i deserved it. I probably got good teammates in a row(i got carried my random people?) But i didn't play too well In case u r wondering i mane sage, 1.09 KDA, 65% win rate. But......7% headshot and 26% leg!LEG!!?
I have watched your every video Tried all of them , but I was demoted from plat 2 to gold 2 I was chamber main when chamber nerfed I can't main any agent
Is it bad I thought the clip from 2 years ago was crazy good? I just started playing the other day and am lvl4 I don’t know what to do to get better or really how to play
I mean I’m not a high rank or anything but I think going into death match focusing on not moving when u shoot. Just make sure you’re not standing still for a long time while you’re aiming
man ive been nerd binging thesew vids. ive only been playing val since this year and comp for only 3 months im im stuck in gold 3. i feel like im def plat level so hitting plat wont excite me but i def need work before diamond level.
Think you should add that maybe you shouldn’t just be muting your teammates, running into fights and basically throwing in COMP games, unrated still matchmakes with people at a similar skill level, don’t throw comp games
My main problem is the bloom on the guns. Every time i go into a fight i just lose because of the bloom the weapon has. Any tips on how to improve my stability in aiming?
I have a question, does it matter that much if you have low fps? like, I started playing valo like 3 or 4 days ago, and I noticed that at the beggining, I was literal trash, and as I played I started becoming somewhat better, but I always play in like 30 to 40 fps, maybe lower at times, and I wonder if it'll worsen my aim and playstyle, or I just have to play more, and try to get better, at aiming and seeing what mistakes I did
Yes it matters a whole lot. At 40 frames the input latency would be too great to react to quick corner peeks and other scenarios. 120 frames and up is fine.
So......I am always bottom frag. I'm like as plastic elo as one can get. Just running it down doesn't really seem like it will help much since everyone else I'm against is already a million times better than me and just have faster reflexes. My aim is complete trash. I barely hit anything. Nor do I even get time to react to get anything off. What would you recommend for that???? Like I've tried just running it down, playing deathmatches to just take fights, and I consistently get the worst place possible and like maybe 2 kills. I need serious help
(ik its a lot I'm sorry) it takes time honestly also stop comparing yourself to others cuz it won't help, (I'm also kinda shit so correct me if I'm wrong) for aim try to keep your crosshair around head level there should be lines around the maps or even tops of boxes that should help with that also try to aim where you expect them to be like if you're gonna check heaven but you're lower bring your crosshair up to where their head would be, basically always be ready for the head shot, and don't aim too close to the wall try to have your crosshair a bit further away so they basically walk into it and you don't have to flick over, also try to slow down ofc it'll seem like the others are super fast and you have no time to react but if you slow down and aim it won't be too bad (sometimes), don't move when you're shooting and try to learn to strafe but only shoot when you stop moving (still haven't figured out how to strafe tbh), try not to spray as much if possible especially with a vandal (spraying isn't always bad but if anything learn to burst and reset the recoil, like shoot 2-3 shots then stop and then shoot again to reset recoil), etc, this is just the stuff I've seen in other videos that I'm also trying to learn at least for aim
Bruh, now more ppl will run it down. isn’t dm works the same way, i mean if u try make effort there to train things that u r lacking not just running and shooting it does the same job.
I don't wanna be a pro player i just want to have a good game with my friend, you know my friend have a good skill and good aim, not like me who don't understand how to aim so when we play together im always botfrag and they make fun of me even they just kidding but IM still kinda upset
This is really nice aim guide video! But i also think that in valorant not only aim matters, if you want to get more kills, it's more about understanding of the game... Well, done a video about it, so if you are interested in... not trying to do cheap advertising of myself, just saying
Do you think Deathmatch is also a great way to practice aim? I only played the mode once while waiting for a friend but it was constant fighting. I will admit though, out of my 33 kills, maybe 30 were me spraying and stealing. Others were just me holding a corner. I'm about a week into Val, coming from Apex, so movement is hard lol
Yes deathmatch will help you improve a lot, practice one taps and crosshair placement, Im gold playing against plats and diamonds and deathmatch has helped me a lot
is it normal that I click my mouse to shoot and not spray, but the bullets still go around the player. is it because i am walking or is it some thing else. please help me.
As long as you don't have your songs blasting in the background I don't think it is a problem. You should definitely have the volume low enough just so you can hear things such as footsteps and calls your team may be making tho ;>
Yes, I’d recommend DM over running it down in an actual comp match, DM teaches you about angles, crosshairs placement, and movement, running it down in a match will make ur aim better cause you taking more fights, but it’s also a good way to pick up bad habits that’ll take time to fix later on.
Yea, of course. I mainly play unrated and my aim has improved significantly over time. Ranked or Unrated, it doesn't really matter which you play if your goal is solely to improve your aim. The difference between the two is the way your opponents will play it and the trends you can notice and take advantage of. The same things you do in unrated won't exactly transfer over to ranked, with one of the exceptions being your aim.
Not really. cause in that scenario no one is really sweating enough, I can drop 30-40 kills in unrated consistently but that won’t transfer to comps, you know why? Cause in higher ranked games, especially growing from plat onwards, it’s the movement, game-sense, and gunfight hygiene that matters, in other words, you might get better aim, but you’re still gonna be hardstuck cause aim can really only get you so far.
@@dr.donkey9254 maybe true but I'm stuck bronze 3 cause my aim sucks so now I'm only worrying about my aim. I will work on more as I rank up but rn I just need to improve my aim
@@fadex2101 trust me dude it’s not as much aim as you think, it’s better to know crosshairs placement, knowing how to peak, and knowing how to hold angles, knowing how to play your roles and understanding the game(how to play). the rank comes after you’ve learned the basics and a trend I’ve seen with all my below gold friends is that their basic skills are bad, record your self and you’ll see just how many mistake you make that isn’t your aim.
@@dr.donkey9254 kinda plat and low diamond you need insanely consistent and good aim because all the silvers from pre-ascendant times are in those ranks now and they hit insane shots ascendant is just a shit show with radiant smurfs, washed immos, and toxic ego players
