Night #5 of OHIO Speedweek is at the Waynesfield Raceway Park in the 410 Sprint Car with the All Star Circuit of Champions! Waynesfield is tight, banked, and fast 1/3 mile dirt track located in Waynesfield, Ohio. This track got super slick to a big cushion by the end of the night. Tanner Holmes Racing had a fun time ripping in the sprint car at this facility! Thanks for watching!

Love your mature attitude Tanner. You do have your youthful energy and concomitant,, but necessary, ego nicely in hand. Love the GoPro ride along's and your commentary lends a ton of insight into your skill and craft. I've been a sprint dirt track fan since the early 70's on the California coast and you've answered many questions I've had about the cars and driver technique. Most people that have raced have had there butts kicked from time to time. It is a good way for staying humble and hungry for better days. Carly fulfills the pit crew and pit tootsie roll with what looks like so much enthusiasm. It will be fun to see her back behind the wheel. She reminds me of one of my sisters who always helped me when she could. Like Carly, when she got the chance to race there was a lot of machines torn up on the way to checkers.

I've had mine kicked plenty,last Saturday was the best one yet,I run super late models,my throttle hung wide open on 900 plus hp straight into the wall $57,000 gone after 30 years I think I'm done

Pat Watson I was once told racing for a hobby was like pouring money down the toilet. That was not true. A toilet will plug up. Race parts keep taking money.

@@sparkyofsocal 🤣🤣that's the truth,I've won probably 35 of the late model $10,000 to win deals and a ton of the normal $1,000 Saturday night deals,but I've also had 4 marriages,a dozen mortgages and a couple kids and way too many race bunny girlfriends,of I add up what all those cost plus car parts I figure I only have to work another 63 year's full time 2 jobs to break even, how hard can that be I'm 48 now,who knows maybe il get lucky fall over dead and cheat them all 🤣one last bump and run

My dad race there in mini sprints on the little track back in the day. Watch them build the big track very fast track. Haven't been there in years.

You are definitely living the dream. I grew up in the midwest and all you wanted to do was race sprint cars. You should definitely relocate to the midwest. You definitely look more aggressive tonight. Just stay on the wheel and things will work out.

Hope you can make it to Indiana Speed Weeks...... The guys who are really good in Ohio, dream of coming to Indiana to be competitive... Think of drivers like Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Jeff Gordon.. and I'll include Sarah Fisher, too... she was unbelievable as a 14-15 year old throwing a sprint car around on the dirt and was ultimately the youngest starter ever for that intimate little May gathering with 400,000 of my closest friends, the Indianapolis 500. As I recall she started the race one week after being the valedictorian of her high school class (she's from Ohio, btw)..... Indiana's bull rings are what gave them their start.

One thing I've noticed is Tanner is making a lot of mistakes and with this level of the competition when you make mistakes you get eaten alive. I think for your amount of 410 experience and running these tracks for the first time you are doing great. It just takes laps and more laps and running with the best which by the way is the World of Outlaws guys. I think it's been 6 months or more since Larson has won a World of Outlaws event and he runs a good many of them.

Hey Tanner can you show us how you Connect your HANS device to your Seat and can you Telus what the wheel covers are for.

HANS device connects to your helmet and it limits the amount of motion your head has. And wheel covers are used to keep mud out from inside of the rims. If you get a lot of mud build up in there, that’s not good

The car looked fairly good, but you kept jumping the cushion and that killed your momentum. I also think you are a bit too sideways when the track slicks up. Just my impressions.

I REALLY HATE CIRCULAR RACE TRACKS THAT HAVE NO STRAIGHTS , THAT'S WHY I LOVE TRACKS LIKE WILLIAMS GROVE AND PORT ROYAL AND OTHER TRACKS IN PA , I REALLY THINK THAT PA HAS THE BEST TRACKS IN THE WORLD.
