For priests- Enemies with 5.5khp-ish or less will die to double dots (vamp touch and swp) so you can just cast both then move to the next mob while it chases you with a shield up similar to locks.
Bonus: as a paladin. Have some lower levels stay by the entrance and rake xp while you clear. Strat is great for this. Make it a guild thing and help some people :) so you're not only farming, trying to get the baron's mount, and getting rep items for argent dawn, but you're doing some good too. If you want you can sell this as a boost but I mean you're gonna be there anyways. :3 maybe have them chip in for repairs, that's about all I'd do if at all. You'll find help comes back around if you're kind.
Tldr: he basically tells every class to get a gathering profession then doesn't know basic warrior skills and shows druid swift flight form despite it not being in the game yet
and says paladin can make 400g/h even tho you only make 50g/id when you can make max 4 ids/h without lockout. this guide is terrible researched and more a klickbait for beginners.
Warlocks can farm arcane tomes at "path of conquest", by pulling 3 groups of blood elves with voidwalker, spamming seed, sacrifice voidwalker for shield, then the mobs explode. Arcane tomes goes for 14g on my server, signets goes for 7g/10stack and theres plenty of netherweave, green items, lockboxes and silver to loot aswel.
Do more research on warriors. Victory rush doesn't heal you. And I would argue that legion hold is the best farm for a fury warrior. With the netherweave you get from the mobs you can make bandages to keep your hp up. Also super health pots help but you can pull a pillar at a time, kill them, bandage and go to the next. Also unlike the warrior in your video there....punmel when the warlocks cast drain life.
As a warrior, i made myself a gear with so heals, so i dont have downtime. Used to farm at shadowmoon valley warlocks Just put [Darkmoon Card: Heroism] trinkets [Mark of Conquest] trinkets [Glaive of the Pit] - Mag 25man with crusader on it. and bloodthirst and victory rush everything u can. so much self healing that i keep 100% hp all the time
as warlock i farm like 1.5k gold every day like 10hours = 1.5k or more farming mark of kiljaeden in kil'sorrow fortress i just dote all mobs and keep runing and just after while just colect all every mark of kiljeaden worth about 1g each + netherweaver cloth
@@Vbomb1337 There are some RU-vid videos that cover it but if you want to see someone who isn't super ridiculous at the game learn it in real time the vods are on my twitch. twitch.tv/Leegos
Youre wrong about spriests and warlocks. Spriests were extremely efficient at doing jump runs in classic and warlocks can farm scholo efficiently for dark runes, they can also solo HC SP first and last boss, which nets a primal (100gish), 3 blues to DE (45g on my server) and potentially an epic to de (50g-100g). They can also get a chest in there.
With regards to druids. -Swift flight form isn't out so you still need normal epic flyer for any gathering to be worth it. -Herbalism is extremely flooded bc sooo many people are gathering it right now and so many people already have epic flyers. Also terokar and SMV you have to fly around the entire zone just to get 1-3nodes which is like 25g/hr with the ridiculously low price everything is at. Spawn rates need to be increased -i also have Alchemy maxed and there is virtually zero profit on any potions or elixirs or flasks. The only profitable flask is Supreme power but requires exalted with keepers of time.
If you were a priest, the best way to farm primals is with a warlock. Especially if that warlock has a fel guard and affliction offspec. There is literally no downtime with infinite pulls. With a disc spec, the warlock can pull a whole section of the map while the priest bubbles and heels the warlock and his minion. All a warlock hast to do is life tap To sustain mana. Soul link makes him a tank. Split the primals 50-50 and you got yourself a good bargain.
i find hellfire peninsula both voidwalker fields are better than nagrand for mote of shadows . faster respawn , less health and damage , comparable drops it feels like . thanks for your video !
Nice video! I agree the most with farming motes, if you lack other skills, there are various places to farm each mote, if "best" spot is occupied already. :)
warlock is a way better farmer. But not with SM/DS spec. The best farming/leveling build is always the felguard. It's even better than hunter, as the felguard can eat up damage and recover to full hp/mana with a little "summon eye" trick. But it doesnt matter. The best farming can be for anyone any classes. It is to farm the auction house, flip items, simple buy low sell high stuffs.
I'm sure some one can figure out new farms for shaman and priest and prob warrior too, I mean shaman has been able to do the ZF solo farm with totems, priest could do the lasher farm in DME with holy nova, I'm sure people will people will figure out some tbc one too
@@Chun-1208 oh yeah. For the rep items with argent dawn. You'll also be able to disenchant on your alt any greens and blues that are boe. Not to mention all the cloth. If you have a tailor alt its pretty great. Then of course you have a shot at the Rivendare mount every go of it. Still haven't got it to drop but its comin... 😄
Expensive craftable sets has nothing to do with the deflation we have seen. Gold sinks are the reason. But some are harder to spot. For example, more enchanters=less inflation (slightly) because of the number of enchanting mats being made (which have 0 intrinsic gold value) while they destroy items that have a very real gold value in the form of vendor value
@@ccdx2 if you buy them off the AH, the gold lost to tax is a gold sink. Trading gold between players is not a gold sink. The term “sink” in economics has a specific meaning.
All prices from enchanting will go up with patches as less and less players will be playin as now we see mass downgrade of pop and ppl run away from dead servers
@@haszun7146 Not only this but every new phase is going to introduce more and more gear that needs to be enchanted. It will create spikes where the demand on enchanting mats go up while the influx of mats wont keep up with demand. Sure it will stabilize and stockpiles will be made but at the end of the day most players are lazy so pretty much every new phase will be a decent old rush for prepared enchanters.
Stealth farms suck idk why everyone is talking about doing stealth farms as rogue, for 5 runs of the sinstance u bare get above one stack of adamatine ore which sells for 40 if ur super lucky maybe ull get 2 stacks of it
Protection warriors can do the strath farm also. Its not as fast as paladins and it requires more gear. But it can be done to similar effect. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OweAm6sl7JY.html
I just started playing classic after 10 years not playing any WoW, I’m really enjoying it! And it’s all very nostalgic but I’m rly struggling in the gold department… is there any sence in boosting an “alt” to lvl 58 and soloing a low lvl dungeon for gold? If so, do you guys have a recommendation for a class/farm?
I play a resto Druid and the lake by shatt spawns fish that drop motes of water. They’re lvl 61-62 and die In 2ish insect swarms. Because you have aquatic form you have a significant advantage for mob tagging. Swim around spamming r1 moon fire and insect swarm. If you manage to gather more than 5-6 mobs you can bark skin hurricane. 1 lifebloom every once in a while is enough to keep you up these mobs don’t hit hard at all. Yesterday in two hours I was able to get 14 primals this way (and 50 hks from killing bots)
The druid advice is absolutely Wrong. Not only ure stuck with 60% fly mount, u definitely can't herb while flying. Tested live on classic, u must land. So the advantage of getting herb from places full of mobs is gone.
As a prot warrior. The best we can do is minning or herb + engineering. If you are good for pen world pvp, Nagrand is the best place for minning, and with the engineering plus you can also extract clouds from all the map. You can obtain adamantite, earth motes, air motes, korium, fire motes, fel iron, etc. There is a little competition on certain places like the caves near to halaar and you just need to be carfeul from rogues. But if you are ok with a little pvp. That's a good place to work. Sorry for my english, spanish speaker trying to learn how to enhance my goldmaking.
Spriest farm is pretty good, double dots and spirit tap make a good steady kill time with hardly any downtime. Not as good as some other classes but very underrated imo.
At L35 I was surprised how strong SW:P was. In Arathi Highlands I had this farm for the L30 raptors: Cast shield. Wait for the debuff to go away. Gather 3 mobs by dotting them up. Scream + redot. Shield if needed. Gather loot.
Shadow Priest has some of the worst farming potential, what are you talking about, no aoe, no cleave, dots cost tons of mana, in which they don't even tick for half of the duration before the mob dies, means your not getting any mana back. You have to resort to wanding/mind blast which is slow as hell....every other class has faster kill time/no to little down time, priest is legit one of the slowest farmers when it comes to mob grinding.
Kinda. You have to "land" (as in touch the ground) but you can stay in flight form. Has the advantage of any mobs (or players) you aggro you can still just fly away. But there isn't swift flight form yet so you can't really compete like this.
Except to name a druid as a herbert in classic tbc when epic flight form is. Ot out is ignorant as let's see a 60% flyer herb anything compared to someone with 280 or 320 flight
@@kenowilliams5952 plain english a 60% flight form doesn't give any advantage, against 280% epic you won't find a herb on a competitive server without a 280 form which may not come until p3 congrats you can pick a herb in flight form but you will never find one
The spawns are pretty random some one on a 280 % could fly past and 30 seconds later a new node spawns that you arrive in time for, sure speed helps but it's not like its just impossible to find herbs with a 60%
ffs you cant just say; yee pick up improve cleave. and sound smart. pls learn what that talent do and try convencing yourself that its worth any point of your build
Hi. I am an enhancement shaman on Shazzrah Horde and i camp Throne of Kil'Jaeden most of the time. Atm Primal Fires are 27g BO and they are keeping going down. They were like 39g BO a couple of weeks ago :P I still make about 300g minimum a day at least.
The herbs that rogues can farm in instances are worthless, ancient is one of the most worthless herbs in TBC and it never goes up in price, it remains worthless, and mining was nerfed only 2 nodes per, pick pocketing was nerfed, less silver and very high resist chance, lot of chests been nerfed to aggor packs.
Shadow priset is not even kidding, The best at farming legion hold, ininity mana if played correctly(wanding quite alot) and easy 2-3mobs at a time, it does need quite good gear which can be a downside, after a few karazhan pieces, its a machine
Protection warriors can actually aoe farm dungeons. It's not as good as paladins and so far I'm still figuring it out but it seems to be possible. Just need a lot more then paladins need to complete the farm.
For warlock going UA/destro is almost as good if not better than SM/DS. You get the instant fear bomb so you can dot a bunch of stuff, fear bomb it, then drain back to full, leave imp out for mana battery. Also you can solo heroic slave pens.
Both hunters and warlocks can solo the first and last bosses of heroic SP, so selling those runs (or even disenchanting the items) might be lucrative. IIRC every caster dps needs Quag's eye from heroic.
@@crispymario ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t0xv3etRdm4.html here's a mage one, have seen a warlock too, hadn't seen a hunter version myself not sure if they clear stuff as well or just feign past most
I farm those mobs in smv 4 at a time, (you can pop trinket here but you gotta wait 1 gcd till you can use it for dmg)pw:shield> pop trinkets >always vampiric touch, sw:p and mindblast ->fear up massfear and let the dots run, use mindflay on some and hope the fear doesnt break, kill the rest with mindblast sw:d combo easy netherweave
Back in original TBC, as a war prot, my gold farming strat was blacksmithing and heroic dungeon, rolling need on primal nether and crafting epic weapon for the AH
The Ele spots on my server are extremely over-farmed. In addition, the prices for it ruined. Than everytime Waste much time to fight with other Fraction
Swift flight form on herbs is a yes for me. Love being a Druid. The big dead area in the zangermarsh is a great place. Kill mobs herb them. Ppl always questing there. Wait they loot then go to other players kill and herb them.
Nope sorry, but as a rogue with engineering and jewelcrafting for pvp it's not worth dropping them for mine and herb. I'd rather just farm primals or something even if it takes longer.
+ Unless you play a very specific build, you also risk pulling mobs and not being able to reset with vanish/prep Or killing the mobs anyways. As Mining Nodes can be linked to mobs. This vid is from a priv server im sure, which the mobs WERENT tapped to nodes.
In vanilla classic, a GDKP had many people after the same items. 10 warriors, competing amongst themselves, and also the 5 rogues, for the one item that dropped. This drives prices up. Badge of the swarmguard or kiss of the spider would go for 2-10k gold on my server, because there were 15 people, or more gunning for it. TBC on the other hand In P4, it feels like the only items with any sort of cross-class competition is tier tokens. This leads to so many items being bought at minimum price, and the big ticket items like DST, might fetch 1-5k gold, which is with the TBC inflation, because you probably don't have more than 6-7 people gunning for it, and that shit is kinda exponential.
7:15, you should a holy mage build for the priests, I have mine set up so once they kill a mob they can keep chaining and have 100% up time only stopping once their bags are full, it doesn't even take a lot of gear to do it.
@@sirdook2761 Ye but you also weave in holy fire and use holy nova to fish for surge of light procs on aoe packs, farming the demonds in netherstorm for aldor rep I sit at around 800-1.4k dps(lucky procs) with zero raiding gear.
