The Fastnet Lighthouse 

Lighthouses are beautiful. The sounds of the water rushing against the rocks it makes me sleepy.❤

Makes me wonder how it was built on such a forbidding bit of rock. Imagine getting the materials there ... holding onto scaffolding as waves crash all about ... convincing the mortar to dry ... and all with the technology of 1899, the year of construction!

An absolute work of art. A monument to the life and care of ships and their precious cargoes.

You are brave to fly your drone like that. I would be so frightened that I would lose it. Beautiful imagery and nice choice of music.

This video on the Fastnet Lighthouse is one of the best I've seen. I love this. The music really makes the video come alive. One thing I would like to know, is how are they all maintained to keep them working properly? Surely they must need regular maintenance? They do a lot of work to keep all the ships and cargoes safe. I hope they are never demolished, it would be such a shame to lose them.

I Love this. I've watched this many times. It is haunting for me because It would have been the last sight of Ireland the passengers on board the Titanic would have seen as they set sail for America on that fateful night in 1912.

Amazing footage of such a beautiful lighthouse. It's such a pity that Irish Lights have destroyed it by covering the spectacular lens and opting for a horrible LED light on top of the lantern roof.

Disgraceful that CIL have degraded the iconic sweeping beam of this lighthouse with the approval of the Irish Government and add Unesco World "Heritage"
