@@HalfBloodOtter I disagree, so you wouldn't be the target audience but many people like me can see the beauty in everyone and I'm bored of the same old dramas with skinny girls and bad boys. It would be nice if a writer was daring enough to write a more realistic story for a drama because skinny people aren't the only ones that hold beauty and love in real life.

I think now there are girls in drama with good appearance not only skinny ones. And being a little fat is okay but if anyone is oversize then it shows the sign of laziness and not healthy diet. ( I am talking here about oversize people without any genetic problem).

There's always a reason whether it be mental health, abuse, physical issues and health concerns, the list goes on and second I don't judge anyone based on apperance, especially since the nastiness people I've known in life have been relatively skinny with ugly personalities. I honestly think someone bigger can play a very genuine role in a drama and even though you wouldn't enjoy it, people like me who like people as they are and not on their weight, well they'll be watching the drama.

@@cupidxo1902 it’s because it doesn’t look as good on camera. The actors are even more skinny in real life cause the camera adds like 10 more pounds. Celebrities have to be fit and look healthy and to them that is being skinny. Skinny is the norm in Asian cultures and a beauty standard here kind of like how thick and curvy is in the western world. I am sure there lots of western shows with girls and romances like you want to show. Cultures shouldn’t and don’t have to conform to your taste unless they are slowly going through changes themselves. It’s kind of like how straight skinny figures were more in back then in Asian cultures and now it’s a hourglass skinny that is in. Body shape in beauty standards have definitely changed but I don’t see body size ever changing in these beauty standards

@@priscillareviews4847 this is true! Not everyone who is overweight is overweight because they eat too much; sometimes not eating enough or not eating enough of the right things can cause issues with excess weight too. And just as you say, being too skinny is also not good for the body.

Honestly I find it pretty ignorant when people try giving health tips to overweight people assuming just because they're overweight they're unhealthy. Someone could be eating perfectly fine food and be overweight

What makes you think they've hugged? Some couples, especially in Korea can be very conservative when dating, and holding hands or pecking on the lips being the most they've done is kinda standard. Since he's blind, she'd have to be the one to take initiative which clearly she would not do. And it's not like he's gonna try and force her either. If she's doing her best to keep him from touching her body, he can only guess so far. But she also can't tell how much he would have figured out and truly believes it worked because she believed that if he knew he would have left her already. Meanwhile even if he knows, he wouldn't say anything because he really does love his girlfriend and doesn't care about her weight.

Even celebrities who lose weight can only do it by working out with a personal trainer 8 hours a day, eating a special diet provided by a nutritionist, and even then still get secret surgery. Then when they get too tired, or the movie has finished filming, or they can't afford it anymore, they gain weight again and end up in tabloids. The truth is, "lose weight" is almost never about getting healthy, no one cares if its only a little fat over a lot of muscle or if their body type is evolved like like after many generations of large strong ancestors, all people care about is looking small. Girls with wide skulls are trying to make their ears look bigger so their face looks smaller by comparison, and shaving the bone in their jaws to be more pointy. If this girl lost weight she'd just be compared to other skinny girls anyway and there is no end of criticism for skinny girls either. Even if she's the same weight as other girls will she be more beautiful or will people just move to criticize her face, glasses, haircut, makeup, clothes, teeth, size of her breast and butt, size of her feet, her grace, her laugh, her everything else about her other than just her weight?

Have you ever seen that kind of love story with an attractive woman and an overweight man? Because I sure can't recall a single one.

@@RottedDollface I know the one where he sees her as thin. And in the end he dated a girl far more obese than him, he just thought she was thin. So that doesn't really count. Kevin James and Black Jack were always ridiculed in their movies. Mist of all though, these movies came out over a decade ago. Nowadays the mindset is that overweight women deserve nothing but love and the best mem but overweight guys better work for it. The fat acceptance movement is proof of this. They only care about women.

I beg to differ. Mostly the pretty face and pretty body wins, but me as a fat girl, I hate dated really hot guys who were genuinely interested in me. Sometimes I am confused why they like me because I am not considered attractive but they even want to be seen in public with me. It's the not so good looking guys who are embarrassed to be seen with me. So I date only the hot guys who approach me. I have had terrible experiences with unattractive guys.
