This Air Crash Investigation looks into Gulf Air Flight 072, an Airbus A320 flying from Cairo International Airport, Egypt to Bahrain International Airport. During the approach the Captain struggles to get the aircraft into stabilised position and opts to carry out several no standard procedures such as orbits near the airfield and continuing the approach not configured correctly. Once the Captain decided to Go-around he is confronted with a flap overspeed warning and from this point his actions get far more erratic and dangerous explained only by the illusion that he needed to pitch down. This lead to the aircraft entering a nosedive and crashing into the sea only 3 miles from Bahrain International Airport.
