This film hit me hard, my mum has Alzheimer’s and some of the scenes I have seen first hand, it breaks my heart, this film need to been seen by more people, to see what it is like. It is a horrible illness

This movie was an emotinal wreck for me.... I teared up again just watching this video, the scene when fake Paul hits him repeatedly. If you haven't watched already I highly recommend Memento (2000), about a man with short term memory loss who tries to track down his wife's killer. First time I watched The Father it immediately reminded me of Memento, the way we are put into the main character's perspective throughout the story.

Love that u twirl ur hair. My Dad did, I do n my son does. My son never knew his Poppy twirled his hair. 😘 A woman came up to me n my son in a grocery store. Asked my son y he did it, noticing he was doin it. Her son does it and she asked y he did it. 🤗😁🙂 Her son does it. She was curious. I loved the moment.
