I admire the dessert civilizations for how resilient they are. They work so hard to sustain their community and way of life. They have also created some of the world's most beautiful cultures.
One of the most beautiful documentaries about life with camels I've ever seen. The narration is the poetry of a man who has lived all his life with camels and on the threshold of old age suffers from having to leave them.
MAGNÍFICO VIDEO. CALIDAD, CALIDAD Y EN MEDIO DE UN DESIERTO. HAY QUE FOMENTAR A ESTAS PERSONAS QUE SIGUEN TRADICIONES ANCESTRALES. TIENE SU PRÓS Y SU CONTRAS, PERO ES LA VIDA EN EL DESIERTO. MIENTRAS, AVIONES QUE TRASPASAN LAS BARRERAS DEL SONIDO. SATÉLITES POR MILES EN LA ÓRBITA TERRESTRE. NO SÉ QUÉ PENSAR PORQUE, AUNQUE INTENTÉ AUTOCONVENCERME, NO LO CONSIGO. NO PUEDO.
9:03 They actually believe that nonsense of why a camel has a hump? Why yes, yes they do. 21:28 He crossed the desert all by himself, oh yeah, and the camera crew loaded with supplies. 25:00 Amazing something that large was inside of that camel.
Imagine not being able to understand the allegorical nature of folktales and myths, or the beauty of faith. These people are still in touch with their traditional culture and are wise and noble because of it.
