The Feast Or Fired Briefcases Are Revealed (December 19, 2013) 

I recall it being said that Chavo didn’t even know he was being fired at the time. He was completely blindsided and that TNA wanted his raw emotion in that situation. It was a really dirty move on the company’s part to do that.

Feast or Fired was a great concept for Impact Wrestling because it handed more than one opportunity to fight for a championship.

I thought Gunner would get the Tag Team Title shot and EC3 would get the TNA World Title shot. I'm glad Gunner got the World Title shot, this can be interesting.

Amusing bit of trivia here. In the wake of Feast or Fired matches, every single X-Division title challenge has been successful, resulting in title wins for three different men. Conversely, never has a Feast or Fired winner successfully win their World Heavyweight Title match in three attempts. If these trends continue, that bodes well for Zema Ion, and is bad news for Gunner.

People gave Chavo a ton of crap, but I really dug his tag team with Hernandez. They had some fine feuds, especially against Aries and Roode, along with some really cool matches. Personally, I was hoping to at least see a quickie Hernandez vs Chavo match at the very least. I think that'd be a cool match.

This was a very well segment. The dramatic music helped ALOT.

Guerrero worked his ass off to be at the top, he would win for his legacy, the Guerrero legacy, and Eddie's legacy by becoming a world heavyweight champion.

Honestly, There is no wrestler till date who possesses such huge amount of passion and grit for wrestling than stinger does. He is and will be always be the greatest wrestler of all time. He has headlined most ppv matches and made it more worthwatching than any other wrestler till date. After you guys watch all his matches ( WCW, NWA, WWA, TNA) , you will realize I am speaking the truth.

Chavo's firing was legitimate, as he wanted desparately out of contract with TNA as he was very unhappy about his status there.

We stopped watching Impact after this segment because of how stupid it was. We all felt as if we were watching a soap opera when Gunner and Storm had their little interaction. Had us laughing. Jeff Jarrett needs to take over and make TNA what it once was.
