For the talk button to work on the steering wheel, make sure to enable SWC in the Phone settings menu. Then the talk button will activate Siri/Google Assistant.
Your talk about music in your ride got me hyped for my stereo upgrades happening next Friday in my Mach 1. Adding wireless carplay, back up camera, component speakers, 5 channel amp and a sub in the back.
Hey man! You are definitely my favorite channel on RU-vid! Keep up the vids and I am looking forward to your backup camera vid. I am definitely planning on getting the head unit but want to see the backup camera installation before i pull the trigger on it. Sittin down here in south Georgia wishing there were some car meets.. but these vids keep me entertained!
Hey Jacob, when you hook up the rear camera can you show how and where you run the cabling? Just ordered mine trying to make sure it’s neat and hidden. Thanks
I ended up getting a Phoenix Android system a few months back. $360 and is incredible sounds great not laggy and all steering controls work. Light years better than the factory system.
got a phoenix as well supper laggy and broke within 6 months good thing it was under warranty and getting a new one, but i purchased the Dynavin no more cheaping out
@@Gerace1010 it's not hard at all just add it to your usb/sd card..go to pictures..then tap on your desired pic..while looking at the pic it's a square in the bottom left corner just tap it and that's how you customize it
@@MrAlejandro4325 yeah bro very simple it comes with a little sd card and you have to use a laptop and download whatever pic you want then plug it into the little sd slot on bottom of radio and I forgot what to go to on radio but it’s not hard
If you still had the stock front part of your stereo with the carbon fiber if you were going to trash it and if I could have it. I have mine carbon like yours
Idk if this is late but this one for sure, it’s is personal preference though. I just got mine last week and I’m already in love with it i get excited just to drive my car everyday. Also I personally like the dials and how it looks oem
I installed mines today and it does looks great. Like Zeus said it is oem look. Was in the same boat and didn’t get the Tesla screen cuz I like oem and less fingerprints. Pretty happy with what I got tho and was an easy install
Yea I think ill def go with this one. I love the look of the huge screen...but I love to feel buttons in my hand. I hate touch screen volume controls and such.
I also have a 14 GT with a JL stealthbox powered by a JL mono amp. I have Morel coax in the front running from the front HU. What is your stereo setup? I am looking at getting the Dynavin and the same camera you have. I have a Dynavin in my BMW and am satisfied with it.
I am considering installing the Dynavin in my 2013 Mustang GT - now that you have been using your Dynavin for nearly a year, would you still recommend it and are there any issues?
Does this radio automatically connect with your Bluetooth with the ignition my stock nav radio dose not auto connect. I have to go to the settings and select imput each time I get in the car
Hey man hope you see this but I just installed my radio bro and my steering wheel audio control functions don't work do you happen to know a fix? And what SD did you buy I want too do my own logo!
@@JacobRDoty 800 isint that bad considering all you have to do is literally plug the thing in and you retain all the factory shit plus the carplay. worth it tbh no hassle
