Whats your experience with linear probe in small animals for abdomen examination? I dont have a convex probe, only linear probe 12l rs thanks so much!!!

The linear probe has a higher frequency so it’s great for abdominal examinations in cats/smaller dogs. It’ll really help when looking at the layers of the gut and the detail that you can get is lovely. However if you are scanning some larger dogs, it might not have the penetration to look at some of the deeper organs that a convex or micro convex probe would do.
