If the Fed wanted to lower inflation then they have to address the root cause. And the root cause is the outrageous price of gasoline and diesel which causes everything to increase in price. The oil companies and refineries are gouging, period. The government needs to make an example of one oil company, national it, the other oil companies will crap their pants and lower the fuel cost instantly. If the oil companies don’t lower their prices then the government just orders their newly nationalized oil company to compete against the other oil companies. I don’t think this will happen because the government is in big oils back pocket. And the government wants inflation high to deal with the 31 trillion in debt. if you are losing in the current dip or you look forward to start the best way to go is trading with the guidance of an expert. Milton Harper has been one step ahead of other analysis, with his strategy I was able to accumulate 15.03 Btc lately...

The US government is literally the largest employer on planet earth. If the government starts cutting, there will be a hue and cry from here to Timbuktu. The only thing driving the economy is government spending, and corporate debt. It's a train running fast, with no brakes, and the bridge is out. Everybody knows, but they are afraid to jump off the ride.

That is why I have said for many years that GDP is a flawed concept, and that you should measure economic growth by SUBTRACTING government spending from private sector spending. If you are left with a negative number afterwards, the economy is contracting. This shows the extreme growth that occured in the US in the 1800's despite government spending averaging around 2% in peacetime and 5% in wartime. I think we're up to something like 60% today.

Just take cautious not to fall into the category of "poor investments." It is a real thing, believe it or not. Having a paid-for home is a necessary component of creating money for retirement, so if you have a mortgage, you should invest but also try to pay off as much of it as you can.If not, all you're doing is investing all this money and eventually paying more interest on your house. Kind of goes against what it says. Invest more than the 15% of your salary toward retirement when the house is paid for

The fact that all of your assets are in retirement accounts is something you should think about. It's also advisable to watch the Money Guy program. They talk about a three bucket approach to keep all of your money from getting locked until 59-1/2. By the way, great work. If you truly believe that it will benefit you greatly, you could save an amazing amount.

I would really love an episode where you get into very physical, tangible reality of what a monetary collapse would look like; my mortgage statement that I receive every month and go to the bank and pay. What would that look like what would change there, my credit card debt and payments every month. What would change there? The use of gold and silver as currency how would that look physically tangibly but I walk into Kroger and offer a dime constitutional Silver for a loaf of bread? Would stores set signs out front showing the price equivalent with Constitutional silver a dime equals five dollars a quarter equals $12.50 etc?

Mario, I would like to challenge your thesis about inflation being caused by the money printer. How do you account for the fact that we had ZIRP from 2009 to 2020 with almost no inflation? We also had QE 1-4, again, no inflation. Real assets inflated but not much else. It wasn’t until the world was shut down and we had a supply shock. Combine with stimulus checks going out into the real economy is what finally made prices of consumer goods to rise. How do you explain that? it is my belief that added consumption and/or a decrease in supply cause rising prices.

Inflation is going to come when the QE / money printing starts again, The problem is the banks were never properly recapitalised / regulated after the GFC. A NYC midtown office block was sold last month for $8.5 million a 97% discount from the $332 paid in 2006 there are plenty of others like that and the mountain of debt is so unsustainable the banks are almost certain to collapse. The reverse repo fund which I don't think Mario has spoken about has nearly drained, and once it is the Fed will have to print.

@@annacomnena217 They won't have a choice in August 23 there was a $87Bn budget surplus, this year a £380Bn defecit. That has to be funded and there has just been a dire 20Y bond auction. The Fed has been using the reverse repo facility but it;s nearly drained. At some point a bond auction will fail which would be catastrophic the Fed doesn't want that to happen so they will print to avoid it - buying the bonds themselves which is QE

Harvest is starting and everything is going into storage that isn't damaged. Agree currency collaspe--others go first. Watching Japan. Some say, I didn't run the numbers--3.75 to get under the curve. So more cuts. Do you understand the locking up of commodities??? SA cuts its production--this is a form of lock up. When your inputs cost MORE than market price, we have lock up. This is a direct result of printing money and the markets correct.

I don’t believe that will change, except to become digital in order to enforce controls. The new system will be multi-polar, using gold and multiple cbdc(s). The stock market is not rational. That is because the people who put their money in the stock market are not rational. I believe that stock market crashes are analogous to earthquakes. The longer the period of time between the stock market crashes, the more tension builds in the system. This increased tension makes the next stock market crash even worse. We currently have a lot of built-up tension in the stock market. The next crash will be epic.
