Carrying as a tank is always a gamble because of the limited things of how much that you can do, if all 4 of ur teammates is inexperienced, then its pretty much gg. But always try not to give up and do as much as u can to prolong the match and possibly make a comeback :3
And the problem is most of the time, even when u contribute a lot, ppl will just disregard tanks.. Even when you win... Even more when you lose... They will only see the contribution if the tank got the MVP.. Sad fate :(
When Betosky said that those two were fighting over red buff, i remembered recently when i played Baxia roam, i went to check our markmsan (Bruno) so he doesnt get ganked, i rolled in the bushes and found Clint and Johnson waiting for him...i started 1 v 2, i could have win, but then Hanzo came as well and it was basically 1v3...Bruno was half a meter away and he kept farming the lane and never helped, he could have get double kill before Hanzo came..i said report Bruno and he kept screaming that i am noob and i fight alone LOL. At the late game my whole team realised that he is the worst player in our team and also so toxic. Everyone reported him in the end. And i was MVP again. With Tank.

Lmao, I feel this. With either of my 3 main fighters, I’d initiate or join the fight. Then there is that one idiot stealing my buffs and calls me a noob for feeding. Then I see that player be the first to escape a fight and call everyone trash.

You can see some people majoring in just one role one hero. I saw a video where an enemy Popol and kupa got the username "Popol any role". They were decent tho.
There was this time, I have a teammate with 8000+ matches on marksman role alone and his recent matches is 50 on marksman and the there's two blank roles like how did you manage to go to mythic with just one role. Bad ending: He autolock Popol and Kupa and got bronze.
You should at least count on 1 hero, maybe our marksman for late game potential, or our mage for possible gank from early to mid, if our jungler is so bad at the decision. Tank job is not just sacrificing yourself for the team, but it's to make decision that can carry our team in the later, don't care how much sh*t your team said, if you're successful you can at least feel happy if your team doesn't throw the game so much.
I love that it depends on Franco from early to late game when you pick him, Benthings made Franco really popular, since he can do a lot if you could hook.
Yes, that Benthing's Franco Crucial Hooks are sooo really good! They can take down one-by-one everytime when he has a Back up for damage to Pick-off enemies. But sadly, Atlas can counter the most annoying hero in the META today because the passive revamp of Atlas that can stun lock him anytime when he was too close at Atlas.

As a tank player, I understand that feeling. You see how you die defending your team and the very idiots return to die, thinking that they can in a 1 vs 3, with low life and with cd in skills. And then they blame you for not being their babysitters.
YES! EXACTLY! I usually goes with Lolita as my main tank. sometimes I use my ult to save them from being ganked but my amazing OP teammate think I ult to open the war and decide to 2 (me and them) vs 5 them when we obviously on the losing side and blame me for using my ult.. geez....

When playing tank in solo queue, I would recommend to use those who can carry the game or have enough dmg while still can do its job to set up, give vision, etc. Khufra is a good example of this for he can do sufficient dmg with 2nd skill and cursed helmet, set up kills even from afar (plus the amazing ult flicker), dmg reduction and tons of cc (he can also stop tigreal invasion too). I just noticed that he is very favorable by players in the Philippines server in mythic rank games compared to other roamers available.
southeast asia server we got franco. franco is extremely popular. i personally hate franco mains... they are so freakin toxic and spam recall everytime they hook you or suppress you. its freakin irritating
@@anonymousaccount633 yeah, he can do tons of dmg with ridiculous movement speed but his downside is the lack of aoe cc skills so he cant set 5 man ult unlike others but once he ult your teams main dmg dealer, then you are doomed.
I would like to recommend Belerick+vengeance & blade armor, this tank has a lot of potentials too (like others) and can deal tons of damage while defending 😁

Honestly, I would enjoy ML so much more if 1. Moonton created some sort of requirement system (other than credit score) to play in ranked and 2. That 90% of the ML community Wasn't toxic. Honestly, I've had fun playing ML while losing. The enemy team and I were actually having decent conversation and were making jokes back and forth. I actually felt pretty good even though we lost. Sure, losing isn't fun, but the game can still be fun if everyone tries to keep a good attitude whether losing or not. Toxicity just makes everyone angry and depressed. Edit: I suppose when you're losing this bad though... kind of hard to control your behavior at times 😅
this is probably the reason why Betosky once said he cant find good tank players. Itsnearly impossible to carry as a tank cuz they all give up playing tank and play a dmg dealer
I've started playing tank solo again and it is the worst best experience I've ever had the feeling when getting a good setup seeing your team near you and they don't do a thing! Amazing really
If you know how to land hooks, you're good. Just hook them by turrets, it works all the time. Run Flicker too, to bring them toward your turret 💯 it's an amazing combo!
I think all of us can relate in Betosky's situation. Nothing is more painful than doing your best plays and carrying using a tank or a support while having inexperienced teammates. Aside from this, many inexperienced players tend to blame the tank or support when things didn't go their way. But on the bright side, being able to carry and win using tank or a support in this situations can be one of those moments where you can boast about.
Hooking the enemy tank towards your team and he activates his ult is the worst nightmare for Franco players, and that's what exactly my team Franco does. I hope more people start watching your videos...
This is why I rarely play tank especially in solo queue cause you're never really sure whether your teammates are good or not, its hard to trust them when they don't show their matches and wr and this happens quite often. It's better to take matters into your own hands than leave it up to luck

To those tank users out there, if your ally core is not in a good situation, better leave them to safely farm alone, while you, as the tank, protect the sidelane. I say this because in my experience of playing sidelane, I am dominating the game, but it's still not enough. I don't rely on our carry. All I need is a tank or a support to help me. If there is any, I usually just rotate as if I'm the midlaner of our team.
Depending on how the core plays, it's not a bad idea to save the core instead. If you're losing the sidelane, then you should just do your best to hold on until your team comes to gank. But if you are dominating, then I don't see a reason why your teammates should come help you in the first place unless there's a gank going on.
If you dominate sidelanes too much You get the mythical 5 man gank Come 3vs 1 i can take ya But 4 and 5 means ggs Here tanks presence can make a big difference Or if they really smart, they'd just ignore your lane and focus on getting kills at other lane to get gold advantage Remember one game i dominated exp, but gold laner fed sooooo hard that we didn't get advantage even when i had more than 12 kills(it was a hanabi)
@@Strider626 in the circumstance, it would've been better to switch lanes in the early game instead. Or your teammates could gank the gold laner more. Regarding 4/5 man ganks, 5 man ganks don't happen at high ranks in the early game unless they're contesting the turtle. And a gank with 4 people shouldn't be avoided with a tanks presence in the field, but the bushes instead. A 4 man gank can easily be avoided if the tank chooses to give vision for the team instead. Heck, you can even win the 4v2 if you have a good lead.

I remember being hated by my whole teammate that they left me alone most of time. Dont know why. I play martis i previous match while our core is alu. For some reason, the same previous mage think that im alucard and literally convince other to left me. And the best thing happen is that all enemy hero choose my counter pick. Last but not least, i got the same score as tank but the game hate me so much i got bronze while he got silver

Yeah beto's known for a chill type of player. That's why he's my no. 1 when i try any hero. His gameplay is very calm even with a very terrible & toxic environment.
I hope you post games where it is extremely close but things dont go well and you lose because of a blunder, i say this because i think it would be easier for more of us to relate to!
This is why of few reasons I didn't want to play tank when I go solo. Sometimes the core just keep dying.. sometimes they ignore when I told them to retreat. Although there are occasion where I meet decent core and they asked to play again as a tank... I hope everyone watch Beto video since they help me a lot improving my map awareness

Well being a tank is hard since not many people chose tank as main role and that is one of the gamble in solo rank whether to be a tank or wait for someone to volunteer themselves to be tank and what's more I just realised that Alice hasn't been mentioned in any meta ever since I've been playing also never seen people use her
