as a mexican british guy who has lived in mexico and the uk, for people going to mexico specially cancun try and get a translator guy specially a local one, they are really usefull for people who cant understand spanish and they know the police tricks, the police has no power in stopping you without a cause or searching and taking pictures of your passports either, they always invent laws themselfs to try and take money away from you
