I think that the MVP discourse in years like this, where so many guys are playing well, takes away the fact that it’s just fun to watch so many good players play.

SGA less team can still win many games than Jokic less nuggets. The OKC have so many back up guards .and SGA has pretty much the same stat last season. The okc overall team improved. But denver got bad. They loss bruce and jeff. The bench pretty much could not contribute offensively. They only have Deandre Jordan as a back up center and a 2 way guy. Do you ONLY look at highlights because joker is not first in almost every category. Luka is first in ppg at 33 reb 9.0 and 9.8 assist. And he's almost avg a triple double. Joker is 26 ppg 12. Rpg and 9 apg.

The mere fact that Jokic has more MVP, more skillset, and took a team to a ring without a hall of fame guard has me ranked Jokic over Shaq already. All shaq does is post up and catch lobs, he does not have a mid range, he can't shoot freethrows down the stretch (making him a liability in close late game) and no clutch factor. Needed Kobe and Wade for those rings

(Kobe Bryant) He also feasted on weak competition. The Spurs were the only great team he faced in the three peat era. This era has way more talent and parity than the 00s. In that era you had Tmac, Vince, Kg all on bad teams and not in position to truly compete for a title. In today's game the league is way more competitive and you have 12 teams talented enough to potentially win the championship.
