I’ve had my F430 for almost 17 years now. All things mentioned here can be confirmed. Even perhaps a couple missing: 1. Side mirrors tend to get loose but just invest in the right tools to tighten up from the bottom. 2. Avoid topping off fuel. Excess fuel can leak into the fuel evaporator cannisters and eventually the carbon filter will get eaten away and check engine light will appear. I only have 16k miles on it. It’s well maintained. To extend clutch life don’t do hard first gear pulls. A light weight battery and wider front wheels/tires is great for handling and acceleration. The car is a blast and hearing it scream to 8,500 rpm is just fantastic every time I drive it. It’s not slow either. Near 500 Hp in a 3,200 lb car is good enough. I’ve driven a 360 CS. It feels like a much older car. Drove a 458 also. It’s better than an F430. It’s not too much faster. It’s more tame.
I bought an 08 Spider 4 years ago. It’s been a dream. It has run beautifully. Only one thing went wrong, the top stopped working perfectly, but luckily it was an easy fix. Just an mis aligned sensor. Other than that everything works perfectly. Awesome car.
