Most actors play younger than their age to give the character some charisma and depth for the role. That’s why a lot of child actors are usually just short for their ages.
I think the thing that's so weird about seeing him in real life is that we are used to voice actors that look different then the fictional characters they portray, but I guess it does make sense for FIFA to do that. With the face-scanning technology they already use for real player faces, they most likely found it convenient to use that for Adetomiwa Edun as well instead of creating a new design by scratch.
SwaggyFaija what because he’s black, no it isn’t based on rashford, rashford didn’t have a grandad in football, or had to go through exit trials, rashford isn’t even from London
No it isn’t Alex Hunter was dropped from an academy and had to go through exit trials, rashford excelled through Man Utd academy, Alex hunter has a grandad in football, rashford didn’t have that
I feel like Alex Hunter’s story is very similar to Kylian Mbappe’s but its not based on him because Kylian was good during the season that The Journey was released. They even shared the same number until Kylian switched!
Im halfway through the Journey in Fifa 19, (finished 17 and 18’s stories too) and I just started watching Lucifer on Netflix, lovin the show and it just put a smile on my face when I saw Adetomiwa in one of the episodes as a one-off guest character, felt rather weird to be buliding Alex Hunter’s character one moment and watching “him” in a show the next 😂
I wanna see a story THe Journey players but in next game ( FIFA 22) but maybe call it something else or have the main protagonist Danny Williams and Kim Hunter ... Idk
The journey would have been better if EA made his career like icons instead. He should of had his break out season, then a season in his prime when he’s a bit older and lastly he should of had an old card before he retired. Not 3 years of constantly moving teams
I do actually... I really liked seeing and playing a footballer's life because they go from nothing to a sensation overnight with years of hardwork... So living their life was pretty exciting...
@@nikhildixit9559 same here. Also, people have been asking for a narrative incorporated career mode much like the one you see in the NBA2k franchise, so this was FIFA's first time experimenting with that.
@@hmzrhmn Just gonna let you know that this is similar to that racist undertone everyone keeps talking about cos of what happened to Sterling. Not calling you a racist, but looking at someone and thinking they used to sell drugs/attack other youths on the streets and other anti-social activity (that is what a roadman is) with no other reason than "I just get that vibe" is profiling someone. It's like looking at an emo kid minding his business and someone saying he looks like he shoots schools w/e w/e. It's not cool
Overall the journey was a great game mode and I’m sad to see it go but it did start to fall off. Fifa 17 the story made sense but it was a little bland. Fifa 18 the story was all over the place at the end Fifa 19 the man was on like his 5th club and it just felt like it drug on.
