One thing that always bugged me about the chests is sometimes the game wont let me open them if the Moon phase is full. I know it does this if you already have 9 of the same gem but it can get inconsistent sometimes.
RNG is based on your actions, like say "You defend on turn 1, enemy heals himself", if you load a state and do the same thing, the same thing will happen. In order to change it you have to do different things or Save and reset legitimately (this resets the RNG). Remember it's a 1/256 Shot on a Full Moon, good luck Compadre.
So, how do you get the Fiends to actually appear? I’ve been walking over that one double S tile in Pride for like 20 minutes and haven’t gotten a single encounter there, only on the tiles around it. So is it a 1/whatever chance of getting any encounters on that tile, or just a small chance of getting the Fiend to appear from a normal encounter on that tile? Thanks.
@@brandonmiller7389 Unfortunately that's not how it works. You see, once you've stepped on a Fiend tile, your chance is done for that specific tile, """In Order to Reset this 1/256 chance, You must save and/or Reset the game.""" What I usually do is just make a save-state near a save point, check the tiles I want, if nothing load the state and then use the Save Terminal then Reset the game, giving me another chance. Rinse and Repeat. Estoma is there to prevent the RNG from encounters messing it up, because encounters can change the 1/256 chance.
