I think Gun Hoo feels pressured because Naeun is a great older sister. I'm sure he also wanted to do a good job like his sister. I think that's the reason why he chose to do 10 pieces of wood to break instead of doing a lesser number.

Kocowa should disable the comments section again. Because there will be other commenters who will get angry at Gunhoo for not admitting that he lost a [not friendly] taekwondo match. (this is not the first time that Gunhoo lost on a friendly match - the first one was a soccer match between him and Lihyun)

@@angelatobanana - you clearly misunderstood why I wrote my comment (and implied that I am the one critisizing). This video will also be uploaded on KBS World which would also be filled with comments of people who will be upset at Gunhoo's behavior On two past videos, a handful of people argued about Gunhoo behaving "differently" especially when said video is about friendly games. To those people, a friendly game is a serious game and that Gunhoo should admit defeat. I am Park family's fan since 2018 and could not help but counter those nasty peoples who are forcing other commenters that their parenting is the correct one or that Gunhoo should not cry.

If a child doesn't get frustrated, that means something is wrong with him. Gunhoo is not a crybaby, he is a child like any other, he is only 5 years old and he is a very small and young child. At that moment all he needed was a lap and a hug. Validation such as "It's okay, I understand you were upset about not winning. Do you want a hug to settle down?" And then Talk to the child in the right way. When the child calms down! Obviously this guy's attitude wasn't right, he didn't know how to handle the situation and I don't judge him. I'm not assuming things even, because I don't know anything about this family's private life, but it seems that gunhoo never received it. So much with what naeun says, her attitude she probably learned from her mother.

i was just rewatching and saw your comment. the guy you were pertaining to was a former national athlete and gold medalist in taekwondo. he probably has the athlete mindset with parenting and prefers to teach children mature things from an early age. what gunhoo learnt here was a valuable lesson. maybe LDH just lacked some aspect on empathizing. probably because his son wasn't like gunhoo, yechan is pretty level headed considering his age. you can watch more videos of him on here too. the guy's a good father. you can see by his son. really just wanted to say LDH's attitude wasn't wrong and knew how to handle the situation, in his own way. if he wasn't calm, gunhoo would probably cry more. it's just that what gunhoo needed was more of comfort. LDH is a 'T' personality. he explained why gunhoo lost first and made him understand, and then says "you can have a match next time" as consoling words, and not "you did well" first, like what naeun did. but good take overall. LDH has a different way of parenting but it doesn't make it wrong.
