"He had acne." Maybe he's just a kid with acne. I had acne as a kid WITHOUT wearing a mask.

I work in construction. Before all of this, wearing a mask all day was an inconvenient and admittedly uncomfortable necessity while working in a dusty and possibly toxic environment. Now many of the same people I personally witnessed wearing a mask all day to protect their health are saying wearing a mask for more than a few minutes is harmful to your health. And the masks we’d regularly wear all day, while doing hard physical labor mind you, are way more restrictive than the light surgical mask a kid would wear on a leisurely day at school. I’ve always believed it’s impossible to be too cynical or to have too low and opinion of human reason and intelligence, but this has caught even me off guard.

I feel that last lady. I too feel stressed because whenever I run into someone wearing a facemask I'm not sure if they're trying to avoid Covid, they're Satanists in the middle of a ritual, or maybe they're ninjas. Life is confusing.

Best thing about Jordan is how he does not really argue with people or try and put them down. He just lets them talk, and they lead themselves to their own hypocrisy

I live in Zambia and sometimes when I watch an American TV show or movie I think to myself that I'd like to visit America one day then when I watch these segments I realize it's not so bad here. Thank you for the reality check

When I was in school we couldn’t wear certain clothes, like T-Shirts with swear words or skirts and shorts had to be knee long and people got sent home for not wearing proper attire. Heck some schools have school uniforms!!! We force people all the time to follow certain rules in certain institutions. There’s precedence and so many examples, so why the uproar over masks? It’s so hypocritical

As someone who works retail, i miss wearing masks. i used to stick my tongue out to all these kind of people.

To say that even a KN95 NIOSH approved mask (the kind used in hospitals, which is highly effective) “builds up toxins” is akin to claiming that a chain link fence is a barrier preventing bees from flying through. The pores in the mask prevent relatively large droplets containing virus particles from getting through. But things like CO2 and oxygen are extremely small and fit through the pores in the mask with no problem, like a bee through a chain link fence. Her kid got acne? If the mask causes acne, it isn’t being washed properly or they are using disposable ones more than once. This isn’t the fault of the mask. And, lady needs some perspective, too. Acne can be treated and is non-fatal. Covid IS fatal. She does the proverbial “strains at a gnat, but swallows a camel” with her inappropriate attitude.

as a child in North Carolina, when I was in public school - i was exposed to racism by both parents and classmates. It ain't easy being brown in a Black & White state. Had I learned of CRT then, i could just say "see? y'alls grandparents are in this book too!"

I am from Sweden, and I can say with 100% honesty that I NEVER saw ONE SINGLE STUDENT at my university make some big scene about masks; it was agreed among everyone that yes, there was a freaking virus spreading everywhere, and we needed to avoid close contact for some time. And guess what? We have now been completely back to normal for almost 2 years; and I REALLY DO mean "back to normal"; we have ordinary classroom lectures at the actual university, students can sit as close as they want to each other, nobody uses any masks anymore, the night clubs never ask for any "proof of vaccination" in any way and are often crowded with people, and the supermarkets removed the face shields at the checkouts a pretty long time ago. That is what happens when you actually cooperate in this stuff.

There truly is a direct connection between education expenditure by a state and the average intelligence of it's residents. Not saying everyone is that way,. just the large part of the bell curve.

I work at a school. Amazing how expressive the eyes of our students are, especially those of our Kinders . Children are resilient. It's truly a shame we can't say the same of these parents. Has anyone started a Jordan fan club? Sign me up! 👍

I am a nurse in a network of 5 schools and it amazing to see how these kids are so comfortable wearing their masks. Even special needs kids wear their masks and just play and be happy. The kids are ok with it ... and its the parents that aren't 🤔

"How did surgeons do that?" In early 2020, I was hospitalized with a infection for two weeks, and within days after I was hospitalized covid came out - the hospital required all patients and medical personel to put on their masks at all times, except having meals or drinks. For patients, that also meant that the patients had to keep the mask on even when they slept - I slept well for the two weeks with my mask on.

This aged like fine milk.
