More than Anil Kapoor i thought DQ didn't got a chance to talk much or maybe he was little nervous or tired or something was wrong... atleast as a DQ fan i was excited to hear him and quite disappointed.... I think he was much more active in the other roundtable which was conducted by galatta plus..

We see Janhvi is everywhere on social media in every glamorous avatar. Then a movie like Mili it's difficult to see her as that character.

You're right there's no difference in any of her characters. The performance of the Marathi actress in sairat and her is miles apart that it's so elementary as if which part of the country janvhi is from. She's a miscast in all her films even roohi and everyone says she hardworking and sincere. Ok but what else is there beyond sincerity and hardworking, its become overused anytime her film comes out. Beginning to think these statements are code words for she's not a good actress but she's sweet, sincere and hardworking.

The problem is not separating the art from the artist. The issue is she was okay in Mili. Yes props to her for trying to come out of her comfort zone but that's about it. Look at the performances we have had this year- Alia Bhatt in Gangubai and Darlings, Sai Pallavi in Gargi, Tabu in Bhool Bhoolaiya 2 and Drishyam 2, Shefali Shah in Darlings and Jalsa, Vidya Balan in Jalsa and Tripti Dimri in Qala. Jhanvi Kapoor is ko where near them when it comes to acting.

Varun Dhawan has potential I don't know y people just neglect him on the basis of 2-3 performances of his which have gone wrong. Its life guys everyone can't be perfect in every film. It's the efforts and passion that the actors have which counts. I have loved Varun Dhawan's performance in Badlapur, October, Kalank and Bhediya is just too good ❤️. So don't just neglect him on his previous choices. He really has potential, you just have to put your mind at neutral for watching him. And there's also a saying that says " You Win Some You Learn Some" ❤️

Mili is a Remake dog Malayalam movie Helen 😂so, forgetting that is not a big deal bc the movie is already got appreciation in original.if they make some original and didn’t get appreciation then this opinion matters.

Every Hindi roundtables and interviews are calling South Talents and asking “ What are we doing or going wrong “ 😂 like ask urself that Anupama, why u calling south ppl to talk abt ur industry nonsense. There was a hilarious comment on Live chat of this roundtable “ Everytime Hindi ppl calling others to discuss the Funeral of Bollywood “ 🤣😆😂 Like, why do they have to make ppl talk like that. As journalists at least learn ur job if u dunno and do it properly instead calling others to talk abt u. It’s way beyond shamelessness… grow up. In this roundtable they gave title PanIndia😂 10 out of 8 from Bollywood and 2 from south..no east, no Maharashtra or other and calling it PanIndia how pathetic!!!! Roundtable of Galatta was Way way better compared what Anupama does. Even Film companion south does better.

And I really want these Bollywood Roundtables to ask as to why all the hit films this year from the South Movie Industry had no standout female performance- be it RRR, Vikram, Puspa or KGF 2. All the standout female performances except barring Sai Pallavi in Gargi were from Bollywood. That's a good enough question and is a great matter to debate on. One can easily presume that South Movie Industry is still too behind the times to write a strong female character considering there were negligible stand out female performances from the industry this year.

I wish you would watch Pinkvilla interviews ... I feel the questions and topics spoken were more interesting... This year didn't like both Galatta and Film companion interviews or roundtable. Seem to propagate this south vs north agenda. Come on even Rajamouli sir said gently let us stop this propoganda of north vs south.

Bollywood actors are trying to become a star rather than an actor. That is y whenever a narration happens they will ask , will it work rather it is a good story. Bollywood actors are excelling in social media south or other regions are excelling as Filmmaker

I don't why in every interview they are trying to define a formula.... Isn't it proved now that being formulaic would ensure failure only. Cinema, like every expression of art, cannot sustain on formula... Art is expression in purest honesty. The search for formula only dismisses expression.

My view is you need films with good content AND good marketing. A movie like An action hero lacks good marketing like a movie from south. It was released so quietly that I didn’t know till I saw reviews coming up on RU-vid. In general the Hindi movies suck at marketing barring some films. Look at rrr they were everywhere promoting the film, each and every city and platform. It’s time Hindi movies too have a concept like pre release or event to generate some buzz. And abt Gangubai, Alia was exceptional, but slb is too big to overshadow. All of ss Rajamouli and slb hits are credited to the directors more than the actors. And cmon dhrishyam wasn’t Tabu’s film. I mean I can think of 5 actresses rn to replace her and can’t see a change. Alia’s performawas something that couldn’t be replaced. So we need context before saying this is her success and not the director’s.

Unfortunately we don't give actors the credit they deserve when they act in movies directed by acr directors, one of them is Sanjay Leela Bhansali. SLB is brilliant in extracting the best from everyone who works in his films- and it's not only applicable to the actors. There have been many interviews with cinematographers and set makers who really admire him because of his insane passion and vision but what people so easily dismiss is that even a visionary like SLB cannot make a masterpiece of the actor he has cast is not brilliant enough. Alia Bhatt nailed the role of Gangubai. The second half of the movie was a bit sloggish until it ended on a high note but Alia made even the parts were there was not much to do a pure cinematic experience and yes I do believe she deserves more credit than she is getting.
