Julien Temple follows up his first Sex Pistols documentary, 1980's The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle, with a more historical perspective directly from the members of this anarchistic band - Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook, original member Glen Matlock and his successor Sid Vicious (bass).
Directed by Julien Temple and including an extended interview with the late Sid Vicious and rare live footage.
A Film4 Production, released in the UK on 12th May 2000.

They put some REMARKABLE footage in this. Most powerful scene is Johnny Rotten in tears over the death of Sid. I’ve never forgotten that, shook me to my core.

The best film about the Sex Pistols. I was moved when Johnny talked about Sid, bless him. Very heartfelt. I bought this DVD several years ago, I must watch it again soon as I thoroughly enjoyed it. A must see for any Pistols fan! ❤❤👏

It's really good, but don't expect it to be like "The Great Rock and Roll Swindle." This is more or less a serious look at the Pistols.
