The reason they love the number nine goes back to rock culture and numerology I believe, john lennon was obsessed with it at one time, hence the beatles song “revolution 9”, number nine has some beatles themed clothes so im assuming there is a connection there. Same with ifsixwasnine. Im just guessing on this stuff but the rock influence on these brands really points to that for me.
@@_melonic this may sound weird, but use Instagram. T archive sellers do most of their business there. Off the top of my head you could follow mysoultotake, buyselldm, eyesyettoopen, invidiual, and knotfucks. From there just follow all the recommended people and you’ll be swimming in this shit
i’ve always wanted a 14th addiction jacket but my shoulders are large and combined with my 5’7 body, getting the right size meaning it’s so wayyy too long on me
I'm usually 42-43 in boots, I went with their 42 and they're TIGHT, taking a while to break in. Was wondering if I shoulda went with 43, but if they're roomy, I'll just keep wearing them until they break in :)
@@therealhaalia interesting! Maybe some inconsistency from piece to piece (they are handmade after all) or a bigger-than-expected size jump between 42 and 43? Sometimes it’s hard for me to be exact because in reality the best fit for me is probably like a 42.75 so if something fits like, let’s say, a 43.25 it feels pretty roomy on me even though maybe it’s not super oversized to a TTS 43. Hopefully that makes sense.
If you don't mind answering, how much do you weigh? I'm 5"8 and currently a 32" waist. I know I have like 20lb to drop which should probably take me down to a 30". Seeing someone two inches taller than me with a two inch smaller waist who looks healthy and at a good body weight has me definitely thinking I should be at least a 30" once I'm at my target weight.
@@MassHysterics For me personally, the Kmrii belts, paired with skinny ass jeans, hella jewelry, layered tshirts and outwear is impractical in the sense of - if I had to fight or run would I be able to do so, in those clothes no. And it was hard riding a motorcycle in clothes like that as well. And what you said, it feels cosplay like. I think the style is good if youre a performer or artist who spends most of their time not moving around
@@gotsick I would really like to! I reached out to them with some question about their manufacturing because I don’t want to give attention to brands that use trash tier sweatshop production and they didn’t answer me! Yo Alice, if you see this and you don’t produce your stuff in trash tier sweatshops lmk so I can give you some shine lmao
Just a 14th Addiction belt from google images, but it looks like it's long gone as far as being for sale. If you use Google Lens on it tho I bet you could find something similar.
They did not come back full force better than ever. Everything Teruki is currently creating is lazy versions with lower quality materials and mediocre craftsmanship, of what he was doing in his prime. Quality of his comeback items are not even comparable to his past works, I feel bad for anyone who orders the new stuff expecting that.
@@ProdGothic also gatekept doesn’t mean not well known 😹. How is it gatekept if this is actively being pushed by reseller pages. Who’s trying to gatekeep it?
An interesting video! But please check facts beforehand: are the buttons on the shirt sterling silver or do they just look like it? As an info source those things should be researched to help with credibility of the channel. Thank you!
Hey! While I hear what you're saying this is a unique case. Each piece from 14th Addiction is unique and the charms and embellishments often change from piece to piece seemingly based on what they have in-studio. Some are definitely sterling, some definitely aren't, but the best I can say in some cases is that it has the look of like an oxidized sterling, but I don't have the requisite information to confirm that, nor do I have available resources to do so. I'm not going to pretend I'm all-knowing just to make me seem more authoritative, if I'm not sure about something but I think it's relevant, I'm going to say it.
As an example, if I had a vintage jacket in hand without material tags attached and no information on those details online, even if it feels like wool and I'm 98% sure it's wool, I'm not going to say "it's wool", I'm going to say "it feels like it's wool."
Hey! You may have just been listening but I put a disclaimer onscreen in text, I went to confirm that info after recording and got conflicting sources so I made it known that many say it's a myth. If you're confirming I'll add that to the tally. Thanks for the note. If you know where the apocryphal story came from, I'd be interested to know!
It’s a little too over done and doesn’t look like it’ll hold up over time due to the artificial distressing. Good quality clothes will look like that eventually, I don’t need to buy it already ruined.. A bit busy, but does have some interesting elements. If it was reeled in a little and a bit more consistent in symmetry I might like it.
