The Final chapter it's a celebration of nature but also shows it’s threatening side, the point of view from diverse artists and disciplines of our generation on this subject.
We are in a crucial moment, we are all aware of the danger and pressure our society puts on our resources and we also know there’s another way, clean energies and protection of our forests, which assures our survival as species. The evidence around our negative impact on nature is so robust that is overwhelming.
BRIEF STORY LINE
The film starts with a beautiful still life, frozen on ice, perfect and complete and one person who guards it.
As the dancers in the outside world move through scenes, the ice starts to break, mutate, change. The outside world has a big impact in this parallel reality and everything is magnified here. The guardian alone can’t protect the ice, he/she needs more elements, more efforts to make a change on it and reverse the process.
Finally the voice of reason (LAVALU) starts a big domino effect that helps maintain the ice and bring back the beauty and balance. It is done by the inhabitants of the city, the action lies in their hands.
The song is called Morph and it makes reference to the butterfly effect, an underlying principle of chaos which describes how a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state (meaning that there is sensitive dependence on initial conditions).
