That was a fun workout. Gonna have to rewatch this video a few times to remember in my head what my fingers just learned but that was a good time. Thank you
Agreed! This one always stood out to me as a throwback to the David Gilmours and Jimmy Pages of the word (lead guitar wise). The perfect way to end a record
@@RickLandGuitar def got that “rock god” feel. Not to flashy, but great tone, expression and passion. less is more sometimes.... Also, gotta call you out (in a good way!) for teaching me something I never heard before regarding bends. The whole bend more than you think you need to thing. I think you mentioned it in another video but it’s so true that overbending always sounds better than underbending and usually actually gets you closer to where you need to be... thanks!
@@celtsfan9437 of course dude! It’s something I work on with my students all the time. Little things that I picked up working in a studio in New York...I would lay down a track, listen back and go “am I always this flat?” Learned real fast that if you aim a little sharp you’ll hit the mark ...vocal teachers will share the same advice with singers too. Sing higher than you think you need to as well haha
The guitar in this song is the definition of "the feeling" you get from music. If you don't enjoy it you are a psychopath and definitely are a sad sad soul. This shit rocks and keep this up dude! Love it and can't wait to sit down and learn this
@@RickLandGuitar for damn sure! rip my tiny short fingers, that hard part is like impossible for me right now BUT just learned all the rest and i cant thank you enough for these!
