THE FINAL DAY (NM) TRIAL GUIDE

Imma be honest with yall- my first time doing this trial without reading guides... It sundered my Ego into a Source and its 13 reflections across the Great Expanse

A detail that’s often missed: you can use LB3 against the add, as right when the first Oblivion countdown starts, LB3 is instantly fully replenished.

I've finally made it to the end of 6.0 and just wanted to say thank you for all the guides this entire time. It's really helped me out to figure out mechanics and not be the one messing up.

When I first started listening to your channel, I thought the puns and jokes were just added flavor to set you apart from other guides. Then I realized that they actually help me remember what's about to happen, and what I need to do to respond to the mechanics. Bravo! I can't tell you how often "think skinny thoughts" has saved me in this fight.

After you defeat the Kakodaemon YOU become the boss as Endsinger becomes increasing powerless against the raw might of love and faith your allies have in you.

i wanna say thanks for keeping the details of the in-fight cutscene secret! I watched this ahead of my first playthrough and was able to stay alive pretty well while also being able to experience all the important bits for the first time during my playthrough

I cleared this trial multiple times but I still watch these guides cause I love the production quality

Thank you so much for these guides! I'm now 1000 hours into this game and the amount of times your wisdom helped me overcome my nervousness is wild. "Avoid everything and don't die" became a mantra that helped so much with this game like I wouldn't have guessed.

I just got to this point earlier today and after watching a few times beforehand, I was able to complete it without dying thanks to your breakdowns (as has been the case with some other dungeons / trials). Truly appreciate the succinctness of your videos and look forward to them for help with the next expansion!

This was great -- thank you! I've only been playing the game for a few months and just got here with my main (BRD). I watched this three times while I was in the queue, and I was sure I'd die repeatedly and be a nuisance, maybe even contribute to a wipe -- but I never died and we cleared it on my first try! This helped me a lot with the mechanics and knowing where to go when things started getting hot and heavy, and whenever I was in doubt about a mechanic, I just followed the rest of the group that was running to a spot, most of whom know this trial well and knew exactly where to go. (Except for the mechanic where we have to spread out to avoid overlapping damage, of course.)

Thank you for always making such nice and informative videos! I'm a big weenie who always gets super nervous before trials, dungeons, and raids and your videos always really help me prepare! I plan on doing this trial for the first time tomorrow, and with your help I feel ready (at least as ready as I will ever be lol). Thank you!

Unless I've just been lucky seeing the same pattern an improbable amount of times: it seems the slow planet always rotates 90 degrees in its given direction before detonating. Hope this helps all BLMs and other folks out there trying to do minimal footwork.

I have cleared this trial but it’s really nice to get a full explanation of the explosion I was in that the healers had to heal through.

this Trial is a big step up imo from other normal Trials. Fight is awesome and you have to avoid a lot stuff.

I have a tiny little brain and always often stupidly died because I took too long to understand what mechanic did what, and you helped me a lot with it! I tried to find if you had done the same with Zodiark or Hydaelyn, but unfortunately, I didn't see them :' Gonna check those on Asphodelos though! Thank you again :3c

Doomed Stars is super hard to dodge even in NM. It's gonna hurt in Ex!

I don't know if it's just me, but during my first run we didn't use the tank LB3. We just survived. So I'm not sure if it's a guaranteed requirement to use it or if we're just so accustomed to doing so, but we walked away intact with a few full heals and CDs.

I just cleared this trial today. I really need to start spotting by myself situations where the tank lb3 is needed - it would have been a total party kill had it not been for the other tank who got in through the Trial Roulette.

Hahaha this raid was pretty hard on normal I cannot imagine doing this on extreme XD

just officially finished my first playthrough of ffxiv by beating this trial. I thought skinny thoughts so well that I skinny thoughted myself right off the edge XD my group still cleared it on first go though but i was like lollolololololol
