Courage the Cowardly Dog ended perfectly.
*The footage and images featured in this video are for commentary and education which are protected under the Fair Use laws of the United States Copyright Act of 1976.
Inspired by the Love of Jesus Christ
Verse of the Day (as related to the topic of this video):
"For by the one offering He has perfected forever and completely cleansed those who are being sanctified [bringing each believer to spiritual completion and maturity]." - Hebrews 10:14 (AMP)
A movie I highly recommend: The Gospel According to Matthew (starring a very animated and engaging acting performance by Bruce Marchiano, who plays Jesus). This is a word-for-word adaptation that has a unique take on the body language and charisma of Jesus, and also makes it easier to understand and quicker to read the story. I am hopeful that this movie gives you peace, love, hope, security, comfort, and answers, as it did me, and continues to do to this day. God bless you.

Hi so, This whole day I’ve been so upset with myself and I really wanted to escape that by watching videos and I HONESTLY didn’t expect to get such a good message from this. Genuinely made my eye gloss over. Thank you for this great video. It made my week. I’ll come back to watch it when I’m feeling down. 🥺😭

Watching Courage as a child I used to hate how others just can't realize a bad character is actually bad but it is revealed to Courage and the viewer It made me really sad but now I realize that the point is to show you how courage had to go through it all and figure it out alone and no one ever really helps you to get over your own fears but yourself

Courage was a pretty perfect show. I've come to the realization that he's named Courage for a reason. Courage is not rushing into terrifying things with no fear. Courage is knowing just how afraid you are, but not letting fear hold you back. Every episode, there's something that terrifies him and scares him to no end, but then the people he love are taken by it. He doesn't rush into battle with adversary to prove he's better or stronger. He does it to save the ones he love, no matter the fear he feels. Usually, it's not even that scary once he understands why they're doing it. Kitty abused by a dog and had her best friend taken by one. The Pharoah just wanted his slab back. The Shadow was just a lonely old man. The Deer was pressured into human hunting by his dad and older brother. They aren't Truly Evil, just evil by accident. Courage was about facing your fear and learning through it. Yes, it may still scare you, but knowing how or why it does something is the first to not being scared.
@chaossmith3864
@chaossmith3864 4 года назад
@@matthewwilliams8267 That's why 'the cowardly dog' part always annoyed me though tbh. I always thought Courage was very brave, not cowardly, because despite his fear he always worked to stop the threat. Even though he was afraid. That was true courage.

The Latin origin of the word perfect means “to be done all the way through to the very end”. Like the perfect tense in grammar means this too. It’s dope the end of the series is a play on this a bit. Their project is done all the way through to the end. Is it “perfect”? No. Nothing is “perfect”. But is it done all the way through to the very end? Yes. And thus it is “perfect” because they did it. We should be inspired by the creators and Courage to do what we love all the way through to the end despite whatever fears are presented to us. Great vid. Just thought I’d share

The reason why I loved Courage the cowardly dog was due to all those weird ideas they used to put in each episode. That was the most creative part of the show. They showed us a world that rarely gets shown in any movie or anyother show. You'd need multiple shows combined to watch a content like that. Even the Samurai Jack or Ed,Edd & Eddy or TimeSquad seemed like as it ran out of ideas but courage was so full of it. The content it had boosted our imagination exponentially. In my opinion all kids, teenagers and adults need to see it.

This entire show was about bravery. Because bravery isn't simply just not being afraid of something. It's actually about being afraid of something and facing it regardless of fear. But despite all the monsters, all the evil characters, and all the people that are mean to Courage, it's fitting that the last two episodes are about Courage overcoming his own trauma and self-doubt. You see why he pushes himself and protects Muriel and Eustace after he loses his parents. Courage then forgives himself for his failures, which takes a different kind of courage after something traumatic happens to you. As a kid at the time, I always remembered just how different the last two episodes were in tone compared to the rest of the show. It's a shame that this show never got a special for a finale like Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy or something. But maybe that was the point. Courage the Cowardly Dog never really was like most other shows.

I've got autism too and the video hit me just as good. Since months I happen to become stuck in the thought of "I don't fit into society, I am not like other humans, I can't do what normal people do, everyone else is better than me" and completely ignore who I am and what I can do. Forget how I've lived happily years ago when I was younger, but today always stress myself with the thought that I am not good enough, too different. Also I've happened to have no good treating friends around me for years. Now I have found wonderful lovers that will always hold onto me, love me for who I am. Ye see Games and Videos are my life. Since I can remember I am making game ideas, I am on my way of becoming a game designer, and RU-vid creators teached me more than normal school could ever do. And neat videos like this just give me such a big slap, even tho they're just a few minutes long.

Like the Fred episode the underlying context was he was a pedophile or the mask episode cause the underlying context was the rabbit was getting beat up by her dog boyfriend. They weren’t scarring cause you feared for your own life, they were scarring cause of how fucked up it really was. Like that feeling you get after watching a Black Mirror episode almost

The thing is cartoon back then (such as courage, tom & jerry, etc) mostly telling about the daily life of the character, movie genre like this is called "slice of life" where the formula of the story usually went like this Introduction>problem coming>main problem>problem solved in just one episode It's different from any action cartoon where the story is continous, with this we knew where's the last episode because of in the last episode is when the problem solved And the other thing is back then the internet isn't as good as today, so we got less information about the show

I also like to point out that "Perfect" and "Remembrance of Courage Past" being sister episodes symbolically tie together as Courage's big finale. "Remembrance of Courage Past" involves Courage finally conquering the source of his trauma and fear from the past. He's overcome his fears of the physical monsters that tormented him throughout the series. But "Perfect" is different in that the monster that's haunting courage is actually coming from his self-doubt. He's beaten all the monsters of the outside world, it feels so poetic that the final monster he has to conquer is from within.

I don't think Eustace and Muriel died at the end of The Great Fusilli. I think they're still alive, but Courage has to just control them and stuff. Plus, Courage the Cowardly Dog is an episodic series with very little continuity. We've had plenty of episodes where Eustace practically dies, but he's alive in the next episode. I really think people are just thinking way too hard about this.

0:17 This description really lines up with the original inspiration John R. Dillworth had for the show. Courage the Cowardly Dog is based off of a true story of an Old Couple who lived in the middle of the desert of Arizona, very similar to Eustis and Muriel. They had been reported to have gone missing by family, and and no one was able to find them or their bodies, not even the police, and the only traces of them left, were their empty house in the "middle of nowhere," with belongings, and of course, their frightened, cowardly dog, all alone, fending off the house for his owners. Forget Hellhound Theories, this is as real as it gets.

investigation')[2] is the past as it is described in written documents, and the study thereof.[3][4] Events occurring before written records are considered prehistory. "History" is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the memory, discovery, collection, organization, presentation, and interpretation of information about these events. Scholars who write about history are called historians. History also includes the academic discipline which uses a narrative to examine and analyse a sequence of past events, and objectively determine the patterns of cause and effect that determine them.[5][6] Historians sometimes debate the nature of history and its usefulness by discussing the study of the discipline as an end in itself and as a way of providing "perspective" on the problems of the present.[5][7][8][9] Stories common to a particular culture, but not supported by external sources (such as the tales surrounding King Arthur), are usually classified as cultural heritage or legends, because they do not show the "disinterested investigation" required of the discipline of history.[10][11] Herodotus, a 5th-century BC Greek historian is often considered within the Western tradition to be the "father of history", or by some the "father of lies", and, along with his contemporary Thucydides, helped form the foundations for the modern study of human history. Their works continue to be read today, and the gap between the culture-focused Herodotus and the military-focused Thucydides remains a point of contention or approach in modern historical writing. In East Asia, a state chronicle, the Spring and Autumn Annals, was known to be compiled from as early as 722 BC although only 2nd-century BC texts have survived. Ancient influences have helped spawn variant interpretations of the nature of history which have evolved over the centuries and continue to change today. The modern study of history is wide-ranging, and includes the study of specific regions and the study of certain topical or thematical elements of historical investigation. Often history is t
