Honestly the biggest plot twist of the whole show was Mateo was the narrator. Like I hung there with my mouth open for like 3 years

I was team Micheal but when he “died” and Jane got back together with Rafael I started to be team Rafael and I liked Jane with both guys and I think my favourite scene of Rafaels is when xiomara was sick and Mateo wanted to pray but Rafael did not believe in god but still prayed with him🥺

If you fall in love with two people, always pick the second, because if you truly loved the first, you wouldn’t of fallen in love with the second.

I love how they ended up how really Telenovelas endings are. It's perfect. I grew up watching Telenovelas with my abuela and this end gave me so many good memories. I miss her so much. She would love to see Jane with me. :(

So what's pissing off is I actually started watching this for the first time today and on 7th episode season 1. The thumbnail pops in my RU-vid feed (why? Not the hell sure) and now that the thumbnail shows who marries who, ok I'm sorta pissed off. No I've never search jane the virgin in my entire life on RU-vid and for the feed to pop it up the minute I start watching it telling me how it ends is so damn frustrating as my heart was set out for her original boyfriend. This spoiler truly sucked.... I mean don't put damn thumbnails that friggin already spoil it for others. Wth??

I don’t ever cry at films/series but this hit different. Definitely the best thing I’ve ever watched.

I gotta say, I ship the old Michael and Jane together, and years after Michael’s fake death due to his memory loss, Jane and Rafael’s relationship grew and despite the difficulties, their relationship became stronger and therefore, I ship Jane and Rafael for the ending Jane will always love Michael for what they had, but now she’s IN love with Rafael, and I can see why even though Michael came back, they didn’t end up together. Even though his memories has Michael came back, he was also still Jason, a person that Jane could not fall for.

PSA: RAFAEL WAS NOT A SECOND CHOICE. People fall in love and out love all the time. At some point Michael was Jane's love. Just because he died... that takes nothing away from what they once had. Rafael and Jane didn't jump on eachother after Michael died. They didn't even fall in love cause Michael was gone... they fell in love cause they had chemistry and they cared for one another. Jane and Rafael were with numerous other people after Michael passed on so it wasn't like Jane just went "Oh well my husband died but you're still here." It just happened LITERALLY FOUR YEARS after the fact so don't y'all be calling Raf a second choice

Everyone's talking about how Michael/Rafael deserved to be with Jane. But no ones going to talk about Jane? She ended a 2 year serious relationship and an engagement to a guy who she just met and who said words like "its meant to be". Also after Mateo was born, she kept playing with Rafael and Michael's feelings and told them that she loved them both. Jane is just thinking about herself the whole time.

this ending is so f*cked because they brought michael back, if he'd just stayed dead I would've managed to at least finish the show

Gotta be honest, Michael and Jane's relationship was magical. I was so happy about them getting married and so heartbroken when Michael died, they were endgame for me. I literally cried so much!! But then Jane and Rafael started to grow together and even after Michael's return, I couldn't haven fallen more in love with what Jane and Rafael already had. Aka the "bestest" couple in the world!! I loved watching this telenovela, so grateful for each episode and what each made me feel, the ending was speechless!!

It's the perfect ending, yet I want more........ I can't stop crying!!!!!!

I stopped watching the show when Michael died. I cried for three days straight 😂 (it happened about last month I guess) and I still cry whenever I remember this show 😂😭 I loved him so much! but now in the other comments I'm reading, he came back? so I'm gonna continue to watch this show again 😂❤

I loved Perta’s character development so much. We did not like her in the beginning but she is one of my favourite characters now.

I love the ending and the whole concept of the story. The love triangles, drama and ending up with the baby father in the end❤️ But sadly they made Michael too perfect for Jane I feel. I’ll always think of Michael and Jane as endgame. Even though he came back (but not 100% like the old Michael) and Jane chose Rafael over him. I can see why that was important, so Rafael wouldn’t be her second choice. But I love Michaels character too much with Jane. Michael was perfect for Jane (and so became Rafael in the end) and because Rafael hurt her so much and couldn’t give her what Michael could, I couldn’t do anything but root for Michael and Jane. And I simply can’t change that, even if Rafael changed and became perfect for Jane. I think I would have appreciated and loved the story even more if there wasn’t a Team Michael or Rafael, or maybe If I didn’t feel as strongly for Michael and Janes relationship. But maybe that’s also the beauty of it, we can have discussions but still accept the beautiful ending.

I really think they brought back Michael (or the actor Brett) because a lot of people stopped watching after his death, you can see in Wikipedia how many people didn't watch the 4th season, I hate the way his story ended, he was such a great person and really loved Jane, so they brought him back as this whole different person so that Jane couldn't fall in love with him again, they did him so dirty

When Michael “dies” I was so heartbroken I stopped watching the series for multiple months. But then I accepted that he was gone so before the big reveal in the season 4 series finale I was so happy that they were getting engaged, but when Michael appeared I got my hopes up again. So atm I’m very upset and sad about the ending..

My favorite part of the telenovela is the love between Alba, Xo and Jane. The two were so proud of Jane in the end, they watched Jane walk down the aisle and remembered her over the years. I just 😭

i knew since the first season that jane and rafael would end up together...no seriosuly i didnt just root for them...like i knew basically since the first episode that they would end up together...its almost mystical...like the show itself

i can’t believe they did this to us... first they made her leave Michael, then they finally were in a good place and really happy, but they had to kill him. then after we “got over it”, they brought him back, gave us hope and then they did THIS. this wedding felt kinda rushed compared to michaels and janes wedding, it was so perfect and magical. There was just never much chemistry between rafael and jane, it felt forced because they had a child together. Michael’s character was ruined in season 5, they brought him back just to be rejected. I loved this show but stopped watching after watching the first episode of season five, the ending was disappointing.

I love how the narrator lists Jane’s passions because he did it on the first episode :)

I started the show when I moved to a new place starting a new life alone with no family or friends, so it basically kept me company and comforted me during those times... Today I watched the two last episodes... And I just cried. A LOT. It was just a perfect show with a lot of emotions, a very well thought storyline, very well-written (and RELATABLE) characters, a lot of life lessons, crazy plot twists, crazy humour and great actors !! It hurts to end a show that means so much to you 😭😭😭 EDIT : Also this is one of the best wedding scenes i've ever seen... The sincerity, the tears, the love, omggg !!!!!
