Oh my goodness. Seeing this made me realise the final fall is Link’s opportunity to get right what he couldn’t do when she fell at the beginning of the game. I love this kind of poetry.

Zelda's lullaby kicking in is such a powerful moment. The only thing I was thinking was: "Not this time. I won't let you go again".

"A Warm Loving Embrace." You just had to put that in the art and make tear up. (I fully believe she was talking about Link there).

The Zelda’s lullaby hits so hard cus it’s one of the rare instances of classic Zelda tunes utilized in these games, followed by the classic game theme

The way the main theme of the series rolls in on this climactic moment as link reaches his arm out... really hits hard, especially after just hearing the main theme of the game and zelda's lullaby, and after the main LoZ theme is used so sparingly... one of my favorite songs in the whole soundtrack for sure

Dueling dragons, demon kings and floating castles---it all pales in comparison to the simple sight of Zelda, a tiny dot in the distance, falling through clouds, and now that she's turned back into a person, you have this tiny window to save her life. Just perfect. Best ending in the series.

when a zelda song suddenly get to the zelda lullaby theme its an instant love when it does it with the main zelda theme its even more so this chad of a theme does both back to back and it feels so complete

I love how it fades between the main theme, then once your at a certain point close to zelda, her lullaby starts then when link is able to reach her, HIS theme (i see it as his theme) starts and i honestly think its genius and beautiful

Its great how its starts with basically the main theme for totk. Then moves to zelda’s lullaby, then to Link’s theme (zelda main theme).

I think it was this moment in the game that made me realize how important the theme of connection (visualized through handshakes) was in this game. Link went and connected with all the sages that allowed them to vow to fight by his side, while his initial failure to connect with Zelda was what sent her to the past and him catching her at the end was his resolve to never fail to catch her again

This game meant so much to me, particularly coming out of the grueling pandemic years. This game felt like a divine gift. An escape from the craziness of the real world. Finishing the game left me with mixed emotions ( not because I did not love it, I adored it!) But rather because, once it was over, where else would I fall into to get my much needed escapism. The night after finishing the game (Christmas day,) I tried falling asleep while thinking about this beautiful ending. And I simply burst into tears! I love Tears of the Kingdom, and this was a perfect ending to what I call the "Breath of the Wild" era!

One part I love about this sequence is how much you can screw with this sequence. My first instinct when they let you dive was to dive right past Zelda and get as far away from her as possible, you can get a pretty good distance away. But the best part is letting go of a right as your about to grab Zelda’s hand only for Link to be slingshotted backwards.

The art is gorgeous

This theme is truly an amazing way to cap off this legendary game, and the way it transitions seamlessly from the TotK theme, to Zelda’s theme to then the main Zelda theme right before the final clap when the two finally join hands again…truly, it’s beautiful beyond words.👌🏽

The way the tension in my muscles melted away when I caught Zelda in this moment after being tense the WHOLE BOSS FIGHT

Every time I get to this part I can't help but get emotional. Link really risked it all for Zelda.

This scene was such a treat, especially with the decisions they Made for the music 😍 The tears that came weren't from the kingdom, but personal 👀 1. Beginning with the TotK Main-theme with a more uplifting drum section-pattern 2. Zelda's Lullaby transposed to the TotK-theme and in a much faster tempo, to signalise that you get closer to a falling Zelda 3. Conclusion in Links main-theme, when he manages to fullfill his duty and save Zelda, what he failed to do in the beginning concluding in this time managing to catch her hand.

Holy cow I never noticed the claps in the first two segments of the song!!! It's a nice subtle detail that hints that you need to reach for Zelda's hand that we didn't get to the in the beginning of the game. It's soft at first in the first part, but then when get to Zelda's lullaby segment there's more urging your to reach for her. And at the last segment you don't hear it at all until the moment Link grabs her hand is when there's a single loud clap confirming our success in saving Zelda Also, not gonna lie, I kinda wish that Nintendo gave the player the option to press A the first time Zelda falls, but it's obviously scripted that we don't get to reach her hand in time. Like when we press A Link barely touches her fingers before she ultimately falls and disappears in a light. That way at the end of the game it gives the player a sort of redemption to missing the first time

My favorite was how they made them falling into the water seem like the tears from the memories. The last tear from Zelda, because she’s back!

The section at 0:30 was like a conduit between every era of my life that I've played this series, all those little threads culminating together for one beautiful moment. I don't cry at games, but I was sobbing my eyes out at this, it hit me like a truck. You can tell the creators of this game poured a lot of love and made sure to weave as much in as possible for the fans that have grown up alongside these games.

I wish that during the first segment, the sequence played out as it does, but a cutscene bridges it and the Zelda’s Lullaby segment, during which a pretty large flock of Aerocuda come around, and being more aggressive than they normally are, they try to knock Link around, leading to the player having to evade them. Might actually make the music hit harder, because now there’s a chance of failure. Furthermore, add a distance/altitude meter for both the player and Zelda. Being struck by an Aerocuda slows the player down by a bit as Link has to reorient himself back into a nosedive. Get knocked around too much? Well, maybe don’t have a cutscene play of Zelda hitting the water at terminal velocity and going splat from the surface tension, but it kinda implies that.

When you saved and embraced her, you finally dried her tears.

I did not love the plot of these two games, but this moment at the end of TOTK made me believe again. Just beautiful, pure fairytale stuff. The big, uncomplicated feelings that made me fall in love with this series as a kid.
