I enjoyed these last boxes of the collection, more so I think as it seemed more organized than prior boxes, allowing for anticipation and recognition. Thanks for sharing!
a very nice guy - this AM i sent bronzeville Comics a question regarding my DC comic collection and its possible future and he responded very quickly with good advise. THANKS
The Action Comics issue starring Superman and Big Barda, in which a producer wants them to star in an adult film, is played strictly for laughs by Byrne and is as much a satire on the adult film industry as it is a superhero comic. It's only controversial for teenage boys who don't understand how irony works.. The Chris Claremont/John Bolton backup stories in Classic X-Men are excellent and it's worth getting the issues just for those, even if you already have the original Uncanny X-Men issues. Alternatively, the backups have been collected in a trade but it doesn't come up often on Ebay.
God, I hate it when people say "low print run." What do you consider low print? No one even KNOWS what the print run was! Punisher 100 had orders of over 41k! How is that low print???
@@bronzevillecomics2581 But that's not the context you are putting it in. And that's not the context other RU-vidrs use, either. You're giving the impression that these books are more scarce than they actually are.
@@Markus465 it has bearing, if you want to complete runs, etc, these books can become sticking points, even if they have higher than what you consider "low print"
@@tiggreth You can never convince me that ANY Marvel or DC book has a "low print run." And if you are comparing to earlier issues you can make the argument that issue 2 is low print compared to issue 1. It does not have any bearing to me IMO. This is just the way things are done nowadays and I'm an old man stuck in my ways. LOL
