Dean Martin lived on N., Maple Drive in Beverly Hills in the final years of his life. Join us as we visit the locations of his final resting place and grave at Pierce Brothers Westwood Memorial Park as well as his final home in Beverly Hills, which is the location of his death on Christmas Day in 1995. That was so touching to watch. I never knew he lost his son. I use to watch him all of the time on TV when I was a kid. Always had a drink in his hand! Sang great. I have many wonderful memories of him.

He was quite a talent but his sons death really affected him, changed him quite a bit as I would imagine. He left quite a legacy.

My granny loved Dean Martin. I wish she could see this. We had a local radio station that would play a song for you and tell your name and give you birthday or anniversary wishes on air. All you had to do was send a post card with the info. I did that for granny because I knew she always listened to that station when she was in the kitchen cooking. She was just thrilled!! She talked about it for weeks, and so many of her family and friends heard it that she would say that Dean Martin made her famous...LOL. Great memories brought back thanks for your video. Dean's ex wife Jeanne is buried right across from Marilyn Monroe in the lawn area. This isn't too far from Dean. Losing their son Dean Paul, was so devastating for both of them. Thanks for sharing...

He actually wasn't that heavy a drinker, it was all a big act, but he did smoke like a lot of his friends did. He also was quite a family man

I grew up on the Dean Martin Show. He , Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole were my Dad's favorite singers and I learned at a young age to appreciate their music. Thanks for taking us on the tour! ❤

My dad was a fan of Dean Martin He never missed wathching his show. I used to watch the show with him y dad passed away in his late fourties. To this dad I admire Deans music,and when I play it I have fond memories of my dad.

I had always heard that the drinking & being drunk was just an act ( it was in to be drunk drinking or smoking on the air back in the 60s & early 70s) & the drink in his glass was apple juice

Denise, Yes, I believe you are right, that him always drinking became a big act, and it showed he was a very good actor that so many people believed it. I have been told he always had time for his children.

@@epfanforever The folklore is that it was impossible for Dean to be an alcoholic because his stage drink was tea or apple juice. But the reality is that he was an alcoholic AND his stage drink was apple juice. Both things could, and did, occur at the same time.

@@akrenwinkleI was told and even heard Nancy Sinatra say it was all an act. He always even left the parties early or just didn't go because he went to bed early in order to get up and play golf early, that is what he really enjoyed.

@@epfanforever Dean was a very good golfer and enjoyed golf probably even more than recreational sex. The "apple juice" story is old and creaky. It probably was apple juice, at least most of the time, but the idea promoted is that since he drank apple juice on stage, that means he couldn't be an alcoholic. It's pretty silly. He was an alcoholic.

You can always tell the wealthy neighborhoods by the condition of the streets. There are no engine oil spots left near the curbs from parked cars of motorists with old cars that leak oil.

Yes, it's beautiful resting place. A lot of celebrities are there. I walked and just enjoyed the day being there are many other celebrities like Jack, lemon, Walter Matthews, Eric Douglas and so on and so on. Yup.🎉❤🎉❤ R.i.p. It's beautiful place.

This home is at 511 N Maple Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 you can google the facts its not that big, and Dean also had other homes in Palm Springs and after his death lawsuits this guy never mentions and watch his drunk appearances on Johnny Carson they are to funny he lived large and went out the way he wanted to
