According to Bikerush Shocktrepet was sick when he played against Masterleaf. He even had to postpone the matches because of how sick he was

These were some great games but I can't help but feel that masterleaf literally threw away most of his games with Futurama. The masterleaf I saw against others in this tournament, before this best of 13 was completely different compared to what I just saw. Still its great seeing you Sybert casting. Always fun :)

New to the channel and competitive C&C. Usually watch SC and SC2 but was recommended Sybert channel by the holy algorithm. So happy I was. Lovely casts and a fantastic tournament. Don't know how it was done during this tournament but I would love to be able to donate money to the prize pool. Amazing that someone gave a 1000 bucks to make this happen but I think the community can increase it a bit further. (As mentioned, completly new to C&C competitive scene so this might already be the case in many tournaments.)

Shoktrepet really good showing this tournament. Masterleaf from my understanding had bad lag issues as well. Russia (I think that's where Futurama is from) to Australia is literally one end of the world to the other, so lag issues gonna happen for sure especially in a Micro heavy game like C&C. Still great showing and thanks Sybert for casting.

That brutal execution at 1:48:00 executed by the Prodigy combined with the conyard cap followed by dropping a storm tower right beside Shocks NOD airtower thus rendering the building he most recently constructed and also the best counter to the Prodigy was ridiculous.

What an Incredible Championship it was... I love.. I almost cry... And so many Emotions I got watching these amazing thrilling games! I was little bit sad that my Favourites Masterleaf and Drive lost but anyway Congratulations to Futurama for incredible Play!

Hexapod phase/blink is just way too easy to abuse. Doesn't seem very balanced, and almost impossible to counter.

Only half way through the video, and most of these games have been great and hard fought.

Well I think overall that was the best tournament I have seen on this channel. Despite the games involving masterleaf and futurama vs anyone or eachother (Aside their first set vs eachother, upper finals I think) being disappointing to watch for the most part, but not unskillful gameplay, it had consistently so many good series. I was sad to see Drive drop out after that series of games they pulled in the lower final brackets (My favourite episode by far - MCV sell into Ravagers, the boi was my beloved after that win!) But then Shocktrepet played so well that I was rooting for them immediately afterwards. Shame it seems their game was off afterwards against Masterleaf and it seems contagious in that Masterleaf was off in the finale. Guess a disappointing finish but it doesn't eclipse Just how good this tournament as a whole was. Phenomenal from all, and some of the best games I have seen. Thanks Sybert for the many hours you have put into this, it was amazing to watch!

I would honestly love to see a tournament that bans traveler 59 from it, it's just so cheesy what you can pull off compared to the conventional games you get with other factions. It's just new gameplay that counters a lot of factions and there's not much you can do about it since it's instant mind control. Ridiculous.

1:42:10 beam canons are the perfect counter. dmg range and speed. they roast those flies no matter where they go with pin point precision! Hate seeing Shoktrepete struggle against scrin so much

Is there a grid of the tournament? where it can be seen?

I still wonder why aren't player sell their structure when it is a certain destroy, Isn't selling is instant in C&C 3 ?

And what do you know, times and times again I see Masterleaf get to almost the end, yet then he gets tilted slightly and lets it all burn in the flames. I always and still believe that Masterleaf is better than Bike, and for the last three or four years he has been making it so hard for me to keep believing.

Was really fun seeing this tourney from start to finish. Very happy for Futurama, esp after what he went thru. This is my headcanon but I'd like to think leaf didn't put too much effort in the last round to give him a win (unofficial rivalry ship?). I was disappointed by the lack of faction diversity. We only saw one Reaper, two or three ZOCOM, a few Scrin and Nod, some BH and the rest are Trav, MoK and GDI in that order. It's really boring especially in a long tourney like this. I hope we see a ruleset that forces faction change from game to game, or at least mirrors like the tourney we had last year iirc. Most of these players are really creative, and I'd love to see what they can do with the other factions.

The Scrin are way more technologically advanced than GDI and NOD, so you can understand why they always have the edge and are a bit overpowered. Its not very fun though.

2:05:55 ye turrets on that tib. it seems so obvious. few do it 2:35:00 massacred with infantrie and a few turrets. brilliant! very cost effective! 2:37:45 infantrie is super underrated. Just look at that massacre! its one sided as hell :D

I love this game, I love that it is still being played like this. But this video in particular makes one thing clear for me. The horrendous (internal) balancing of Scrin, and in particular the gagantic absence of Reaper in its entirety. I get sick and tired of watching every Scrin being a Traveler faction, and I am sick and tired that Reaper-17 is (prsumably) so horribly underwhelming that it never shows up. They could make Marked of Kane (my favourite faction) work and put on the forefront, please... for the love of all gods... Fix Scrin, and fix Reaper, because it's just getting beyond rediculous.

I got an Idea for a tournament: unlikely, þat it will be seen here in þe comment section but I felt like pointing it out as to not let it fly past. Wouldn't be a faction tournament a great idea? As in we have 3 players who play exclusively Scrin, 3 players, who play exclusively NOD and 3 players, who play exclusively GDI. Þen everyone will go up against every oþer person once and at þe end þe price pool will be divided amongst þe faction members, who were able to score þe most victories for þeir faction. For instance : if Scrin wins 15 out of þe resulting 36 matches NOD 12 and GDI 9 þen Scrin wins and a Price pool of 210 dollareedoos would be divided by 3 and þatvwould be 70 £ for each scrin player.

All the games were great until you see those cheap ass T59 tactics again. Easiest way to take any fun out of a game
