I wasn't looking at the screen when you read the name "Rambunctious Stuffy" and I honestly immediately expected it to be a pun on a Ram and be an angry little goat, and now I'm a bit mad myself. That's on me, I set my expectations too high.

I disagree on dr. Stichensew. I see your point about synergy, but I feel like the good cards are these, which are super hard to deal with. The dr. Provides that. As you said, your opponent might want to ignore it, so you get nice aggresive stats, that is basically guaranteed to do quite a lot of damage. This Card scares me. Same with the stuffy. Build in the right way this card is pretty crazy, even if you are not counting it as a 3-drop.

Silk Stitching looks dogwater because you aren't secretly picking the deathrattle. Your opponent will see what spell is firing off and will get to plan accordingly.

Dr doesn’t seem GOOD but it seems alright. Yes, it isn’t a wincon, but it’s 4 bodies. While you aren’t excited for the 3 and 1 drops, in decks like rainbow dk which will end up either running you over or running out of stuff, stickiness is great. Not a staple but I think it will be suprising

Zombietank provides Rainbow DK reliable corpse spending for CNE. Allows you to maybe cut out subpar cards like Malignant Horror or Corpse Bride, and is much easier to fit into a curve than either of them

If u get a decent 5 deathgrowl might lowkey be broken with this cause u can insta pop it if u already have board presence Also damn threads of despair is a defile on cocaine if u got 2 1hp minions it will even deal 2 unlike defile that always only dealt 1 u can skip steps with it thats insane a bunch of 1/1 become a board clear etc.

Threads are stronger than defile. If several minions dies the next wave reflect that. It's gonna get nerfed.

Threads of despair is so much worse than defile since it doesnt deal the first initial damage and doesnt proc off any summons or deathrattles

It really doesn't seem like the class designers are reading the same book when it comes to balance. I quite like the Deathknight cards, but I'm pretty sure a couple other classes are going to be doing outrageously unfair things and this just isn't that. Or it doesn't look like it anyways. Some of the classes once again look like they're having their power reigned back in while others are up to their usual broken shenanigans. This sorta thing has a lot to do with how I came to enjoy this game purely during spoiler season. All the brainstorming, none of the toxic/boring ladder.

I think Stitchensew will be your one big miss this expansion

I might be thinking of this wrong but isn't threads of despair just objectively better (assuming you're guaranteeing it triggers) than defile? Like if it kills 3 1/1 minions defile would trigger 1 more dmg and if that killed nothing it's over whereas if this kills 3 1/1 minions they each trigger another 1 dmg so you could kill up to 4 health minions and so on.

Dr. Stitchensew is a 5 star card, then a 3 star card, then a 1 star card.

I have a feeling that Regis soon into the expansion will realise that Dr. Stitch earns a 4 star card rating. I only played DK for the last year and DK decks are kinda oldskool in the sense that they do care about board building and just surviving board clear after board clear to widdle the enemy down to 0. Stitch is going to make this so much more achievable and yes people will use the 1 mana spread the deathrattle for sure on him. All of this depends on if DK can keep up with the competition ofcourse to see the real power, but it won't be this card's fault.

I hate that the 2 mana 3/2 looks like the baby head toy from toy story

Its an interesting leaver of balance on rainbow seamstress to not make her have the runes and just give her lifesteal reborn rush. It lets her be in more decks but weakened the reborn.

As I’ve begun to dip out of Hearthstone myself into things like Marvel Snap and Dead by Daylight it’s been great to still have your videos as my primary source of new card info! I’m actually gonna stick around for this expansion for nostalgia’s sake

3:10 "Your opponent just kinda ignores this for a while" nobody can ignore a fireball worth of damage every turn. Hearthstone has not yet, even with power creep, hit the breakpoint where you can ignore 6 damage going face every turn, It has to be dealt with.

dude, that's not just a pile of stats. that's a HUGE PILE OF STATS the best comparison imho was the old school rattlegore, that was way slower and clunkier and still has been played and very annoying to deal with. in a midrangy deck the sticherdude will prove amazing

They seem to be pushing hard for rainbow death knight and not triple or double rune decks

Well i see some cards in dk will support very well the raybom dk, this card is good to gain corpses, is one card having 3 minion... unless he get silence or reno delet it

I wonder if Silk Stiching is going to be able to discover the triple rune spells, or are those cards permanently out of the discover pool?

Threads of despair sounds like the damage will stack too! So it's even better than Defile was... if you have a 6/6 on board and a bunch of tokens. The tokens will die all at the same time but they will all proc 1 damage onto the 6/6 and kill it as well. So you don't need to "math it out" as hard. You just need to count bodies and see how many are chalked up to die after all the damage is going out. With both sides of the board you could also wipe out a bunch of big targets for 1 mana.

Threads of Despair is actually a stronger board clear than Defile, as it triggers for every minion that dies.

Is it me or is Synergy kinda killing Hearthstone deck building in a way?

Death Knight is just stupid at this point. Blizzard should just completely scrap the runes system and simply keep corpses and something like reborn as the class identity. This expansion proves the runes are a dumb system. Most cards are single rune and the ones that aren't just have 2, which for effective purposes is like they either were single rune or completely rainbow.

Regis is sleeping on Stuffy. If all of your opponent's minions had 4 health (or multiples of 4), this card would be cracked. Since they won't, this card is still at least 3.5 stars imo. I think there will be plenty of cheap frost spells to activate the reborn.

I don’t know how you think Threads of Despair is the best card of all of these, when it requires just as much other cards to work with it to make it useful. Not to mention the condition of the board required

Death Knight didn't get a Spirit of the X card while Demon Hunter did. Maybe for the miniset.

Stuffy does feel like a tempo play. If your opponent can't fully kill it it may generate a decent amount of value

I like the Dr. for generation purposes. It is a higher quality undead minion to get from the Hero card's hero power for example.

I really like the design of Threads of Despair-- a really unique spin on Defile with some different challenges

Hmmm double battlecry with stichensew is quite a lot of value, sure it'll be a little odd doing it but i want it.

Dr. Stitch with death growl seems decent at minimum.

Threads of despair actually has some upside over defile in that if 2 minions die at once, then you get 2 damage next tick instead of the 1 for defile. Should make setting up clears a lot more consistent.

from a flavour standpoint, the dr should cost 7 … just saying

I was expecting "Reno or Silence deals with Dr. Stitch 1 star"
