The way I grew up it was deemed highly tacky, & an absolute no, to dress up as a blushing bride with the full works of flower girls, pages, etc when you were a divorcee. It was considered to be a lack of breeding to do this a second time around. I was actually shocked to see Meghan Markle dressed as a bride all in white, with a full veil, & the whole paraphernalia of a first time wedding & bride. The next shock was to see one sole, lonesome family member, her Mother, representing & supporting her. Then a ranting, rambling priest bringing up slavery at a wedding. There is a time and place for such topics but not it’s not called for at a wedding. I don’t think that has ever happened at any Royal, or, high society wedding before. It is just not done. The way King Charles & Camilla, plus Princess Anne & Tim Lawrence married the second time around was the absolute correct way for a wedding ceremony to be conducted. Those ceremonies were full of elegance, dignified and tasteful.
Unfortunately it says a lot about the way she was reared,, guessing it was all those hours on film sets in Hollyweird plus at least one parent who wasn't willing to teach her basic good manners and how to behave but instead he decided to spoil her rotten (you'd think in his job he'd know what happens when you do that to someone, not as though there aren't plenty of examples in Hollyweird) and let her get away with whatever she wanted.

Yes!!! I noticed that, and it made me so angry because of the level of DISRESPECT!!! Every other royal wedding, the brides curtsied before the queen before continuing down the aisle…however, this woman smiled smugly and completely ignored the queen and walked on triumphantly!! I was scared for Harry on the wedding day! The energy of his brother, Harry himself, the family AND especially the Queen’s face told me everything I needed to know that she was NOT happy about this union! Now, 6 years later, we continue to find out about all the nastiness and drama that was happening behind the scenes while she was the girlfriend and fiance and it seemed to escalate when she reached the goal of “wife”…

The wedding was planned to be lower key along the lines of prince Edward and Sophie now Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh but HM had to have one that was similar to Prince Wiliam and Princess Catherine.
William and Catherine wanted to have a much smaller wedding but were told, as he is the future King, they had to have the State Wedding. There were quite a few things in the wedding where it wasn’t what W&C wanted, but they accepted that was how it had to be gracefully.
