Imo, this is the best song from both BotW and TotK. A culmination of everything we worked through Makes me so emotional looking back to 5 years ago when I frist played this.
This is probably the most underrated track in the entire OST, that tempo change at 6:21 is just so good. This dungeon and it's soundtrack is truly just the ultimate Shrine/Divine Beast, a culmination of every puzzle and every challenge you've faced so far
The fact that the music becomes more and more... better with each task you complete makes this quite simply the best Temple/Dungeon music ever. Every Player at least those that aren't deaf will notice eventually how more instruments are added to the soundtrack.
Same. The normal shrine music this is based on is bleak, almost desolate. But this? It's completely different. It's a celebration. The Hero of Hyrule has awakened and completed his trials, and I find it fitting that this final trial takes place in the one Divine Beast that Calamity Ganon was never able to corrupt.
the shrines in BotW have partially randomly arranged/varied tracks in the shrine. The "final trial" theme is then the culmination of all the individual shrine track variants. Its so beautiful, its truly the reward for doing all the shrine trials. similarly the boss battle theme of the dungeon, monk maz koshia, is an extension of the shrine guardian battle theme . Check that out, if you haven't. Both those tracks are some of my personal favorites in the whole zelda series.
@@SnasDeSnasit’s even more complex than that - virtually all the music is spliced together in real time. (check out the ripped audio files if you’re interested) The OST is made up of many, many different layers than can dynamically adjust in intensity depending on in-game cues. This soundtrack is a great example of that: as you progress through the Final Trial, the music becomes progressively more complex and energetic. Hyrule Castle is similar: as you move from inside the castle to outside (or vice versa) the track shifts between synced variants.
tbh i dont think the new dungeons are really that different, just aestheticaly and with old school bosses instead of elemental ganons, but the gameplay loop is exactly the same
Ahh, Breath of the Wild. What a truly spectacular game... All the memories when I first started my playthrough. What an incredibly special and exciting time. And the DLC was the cherry on top
They are 10000 years old shrines, each with an undead, shriveled-up mummy in them. And many of them are death traps. They are not happy places. That being said, I never found the shrine music depressing. Mysterious, ominous, and eerie, yes. But Never depressing. This track is way too uplifting and epic for the normal shrines, and it would lose its appeal if you hear it all the time.
im playing the dlc and im in this stage right now, and i didn't advance just to hear this, and i cried of exciting, thinking of all the adventures i played, the shrines, the divine beasts and all of Botw that im about to finish! nintendo knows how to put us in a emotional state really good and i love it ❤️
Link's Champions Ballad marries the splendor of Ancient Hyrule, their tech verging on divine power, and the foresight afforded by Hylia to the Sheikah Monks. At its completion, they gave our righteous hero all they had in good faith. What this Link, the Hero Of the Wild, had to overcome to rescue Zelda was unprecedented. The Champion of the Wild is the only Link that the Goddess incarnate falls for completely. He and Zelda share a bed in TOTK with their portrait on the wall. And I don't blame her. He's quite the catch. I'd want to have his babies too. To the Hero of the Wild, our greatest champion!
TotK is Owesome, But this is the Masterpiece. I didnt Touch BotW in Like 9 months, And the moment i played the Video, The Music Made me Want to Play it all Again; the Dificult Shrines, The Sheikah Slate Runes, It is All Unique, Just Perfect. I Love TotK But The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild is the Peak of Zelda in general, and this Theme just makes me want to re-live all that Fealings Again; the 13 hearts to the Master Sword, Zelda's White Horse, The Trial of The Sword, The 124 shrines, The Guardians; This Theme just make me Want to Turn on My Switch and Play it All Again
