I’m not French but I have to admit that they won. they stood for their flag until the end and they force the Spanish into using script and bot. The French use a overlay that said what color to put but they didn’t use bot. I watched their stream and they were just so organize compare to the Spanish
They definitely botted, when r/place was ending and only white pixels could be placed, you can see how quickly the french flag disappears cause the boys are constantly going at it...

But with all due respect mathetically speaking there is no way France alone as they where would had a chance, they fact they did, it's just another prove of them booting. mizkif as always played on 2 fronts, xqc played the role of the villain and hasan the brainless. US farmed the war, France defended to the end and gained respect and Spain showed the toxicity of their streamers and did not learn humility but learned humiliation. it was a fun event.

For those wondering : yes, french used bots. But for some reasons the bots slept in the same hours than french people, they didn't erase the little amogis, they perfectly listened to the streamers calls, and they understood that they had to type FR with the antivoid. Very impressive bots ! (take your L spaniards)
If everybody as doubts is not a victory for the french community. Yes some streamer wake up at 4 a.m to take the relay of the defense. Some people don't sleep for doing the overlay. This is French community this insane.
The Spanish Community did some nice arts actually, small, but they were there, Ibai & Rubius though? Focused on destroying the French corner more than anything XD
@@ermedas they did a Spanish flag a Colombian flag an Argentinian flag and more but the Spanish also made a lot of tiny memes and stuff about their countries around their flags but the French have to take half the map just to do a flag without nothing else

8:24 Those are default reddit usernames. They were on the entire canvas... Why would anyone make bots with bots username, it wouldn't be hard to create accounts with random names why would anyone create bots with "bots names"

when you create an account with "sign with google" option it create those "bots name", reddit wasn't used in France, few french vierwer had account prior to this event. They created an account following the orders of french streamer to participate, lot's of them used the "sign with google" feature and didn't change the name
I'm just going to explain something, there are very few French people who had reddit accounts, so me for example, like many other French people, I created an account very quickly to go and defend the flag and I left the basic nickname because I will only use Reddit for the r/place.. This is the reason why the nicknames stink of shit

I was with Russian streamer building Alisa from Everlasting Summer and the reason why we were building there is because we tried to build her there way before Mizkif came and it wasn’t only Russians but all CIS countries audiences and even including Ukrainians(I’m Ukrainian myself). It was fun battle but what was kinda strange is when Mizkif proposed to draw ukrainian flag there in order to stop Russians from attacking (luckily his friend stopped him). The Russian streamer established at the beginning when he joined that they won’t touch ukrainian artworks for obvious reasons, so Yh. But in general it was fun to be part of this as well as fighting with other communities or build with them and protect the artworks.
For big ones like the Reckful duck its not just OTK that defended it. That's one of the interesting things about r/place. If you make something everybody can get behind then anyone can decide to help defend it. The Community that organizes the art will create it then everyone decides if it stays. If its a worthy piece of art or memorial then not many people will try and destroy it. Even public enemy number one xqc made Zyzz and other communities helped defend it because it was worthy and beautiful. Zyzz wasint even marked as a memorial and it still stayed strong.
I don't like seeing other people self promote or whatever. So only watch my latest video if you want to see what the end of day 3 looked like. If you don't care just ignore me. But R/place was absolutely crazy. And I'm glad to have been a part in it. Also I start to soom In around 1 minute in the video I'm pretty sure :)
What I find hilarious is how the French (Idk about Kameto, but I'm sure for Locklear) are constantly exaggerating their French accent to the maximum, and everyone think this is how they actually speak English 😂 They just want to be funny, and it works perfectly, without the others noticing they troll😂

The french won because french streamers and their communities are used to work together, they often play together and also they are used to share the same goal thanks to the Z Event. They won't ever be as big as spanish streamers who can count on all the viewers from south America or American streamers who have the advantage of speaking english and are watched in the whole world but they were able to work together and came up with a simple yet effective plan. Also they did not cheat, they just used an overlay, reddit isn't very popular in France, most players created their account just so they could take part in the event, I understand why you'd find their usernames suspicious but that's just how it is, the odds are they won't use it again until the next /place in five years 😅 Anyway, it was all good fun, I love all the memes that came out of this, the germans made me laugh so hard when they trolled the canadians 🤣🤣🤣 A lot can change in 5 years, maybe you'll have the last laugh next time ;)

Mizkif you were the only one who respected the French, and the only who understood we weren't botting. The "bots usernames" are just the ones Rddit gives you when you've signed in the first time. Reddit isn't really known in France.

@@PabloBadiaG A bot would break the moment it does not find the color it is trying to put on the canvas (it does care about the color it is trying to put, why wouldn't it ...?). The moment the white was the only color still available any eventual bot would just stop working at all so the BTS stuff disappearing is not the Spanish bots doing but the French defense and the flag as a whole disappearing isn't the French bots doing but the American/Spanish offensive (as we can see them say to their communities to wipeout the flag in this very video btw)

What a wonderful moment it was, even though it went a bit crazy in the end with the Spanish, Mizkif being an actual chad, xQc being the perfect "villain", and Hasan even though he snapped at some point was an incredible guy, lots of good memories were made, guess now we wait 5 years to see the next arc...
