In Fgo when you summon Avicebron and speak to him, he remembers what he did to his previous master. He deeply regretted the action he took during that time and wished to rectify that action by protecting Humanity.
13:07 Yeah the dub did this line justice, yet another sub L & god knows which version of the sub ur even watching. My “best of dubbed anime” playlist(in progress) will open the eyes of any sub elitist to this Tom foolery. Cause guess what sub is still a form of translation like dub so ur gonna get stupid lines like this a lot. & ofc dub has this problem as well but not nearly as bad. Sadly only those fluent in Japanese will ever get the authentic experience these elitists oh so crave.
This noble phantasm of caster was his Great Deed, his aim as a mage. He wanted to recreate a deed of god - create a first human, Adam. Even so this is a majecraft imitation, sheer scale of rude force used for this creation was so huge that resulting creature didn't even cared for most of attacks made by heroic spirits. In it's complete form it posessed a potence to remake world in its entirety and surpass any human thing. So they just bruteforced it before completion.
OK, so the man in the pre-title sequence was Caster Avicebron when he was alive. That part was supposed to give some background for his motivation. Also (I think others said that as well): Having betrayed his Master here in Apocrypha here did really have an effect on Avicebron. Enough that it influences him in other summonings even when he has no clear memory of the events of Apocrypha. In the first Lostbelt of FGO Part 2 Avicebron is plagued by some vague guilt he felt for how he used his NP here (and especially that he lured in his Master to serve as the core), and he ends up summoning it again sacrificing only himself to summon as aid in what amounts to giant Kaiju battle against the enemy (and it actually acts in that fight as a mechanic which is pretty cool).
To be fair with (former) caster of black, in fate/grand order, one of his voice lines show that he remembers the events of fate/apocrypha and that he does feel remorseful for what he had done. Even if in apocrypha, he doesn't give a f***...
4:57 his command spells wouldn’t work because he’s not Avicebron’s(Castor) master. The golem, Adam, is supposed to bring the garden of Eden from the Bible into existence. It uses a reality marble to do so and is almost invincible. The only two servants in the war that could take it on their own were Karna and Achilles. In fact the golem is so powerful that in FGO it was able to keep up with the weakest of the lostbelt kings which is something very few servants can ever do.18:59 Astolfo’s Trap of Argalia is said to bring any opponents strikes to their knees, it does so making their legs disappear. 21:15 Wait until you see Fate Babylonia.
