Yup, I feed both Gizzmo and Freddie as soon as I get up, so they don't disturb my Mum after I leave for work!

😹🐾💕 They're all so cute. I've only got 2 rescues. The smart one strategically pokes different spots in my arms and legs so I'll roll onto my side. Usually I sleep through that, but I know he's the one that got me to move because if I actually sleep on my side, it pinches a nerve in my neck. Once I'm on my side, he strategically starts on the back of my legs, pushing them with his nose and paws like he's trying to look underneath them. That's what wakes me up, because I have to keep moving my legs. He'll poke, then pause to watch my movement. He'll keep repeating the process until my feet leave the bed and hit the floor. Then he jumps down and runs to his feeding spot. The other cat is a chubby orange boy. I'm not saying he's not smart. It could be that he works smarter not harder, and just lets the other guy do all the work 😹🐾💕

LOL my life, except there's 7 of them, same thing.. also I have what I call the female rooster of the family Miss Zuu zuu, who wakes everyone up Meowing (Loudly, she is spayed btw) around 5-6am decreeing that they are all hungry.. This morning I had two of them playing running back and forth from my room to the kitchen, jumping on my bed like "Mom!! wake up!! we want noms!!" lol Your gang is so cute, I want 9 more cats now.. Thanks for sharing!!

My Mom had a car magnet that asked, "Who rescued who?" If we went someplace together but separated to meet back at her car, I'd know which one was hers because of the magnet. Sadly, last summer it went missing. It could possibly have gotten lost in the car wash, but more likely someone at a store decided they wanted it. It really bummed her out, and was even sadder because she was battling cancer, and her rescue dog was getting her through the rough days. The way I knew that Mom would die soon was that she stopped talking to her dog when people were around. It used to be that you'd go see Mom, and she'd have a conversation with her dog in which she said what she wanted to tell you. But she stopped doing that about 2 weeks before she died. She started focusing on the people who came to visit, including me. The only thing she said to the dog was, "Move out of the way, I have to get my walker through here." Or, "Watch out for my oxygen tube. Move out of the way." Poor dog. Mom died almost 2 weeks ago. The dog was terribly depressed in the weeks leading up to Mom's death, but the day Mom died in the hospital, I honestly think Mom went to say goodbye to the dog, because I went to Mom's house to take care of some things later that day, and the dog was happier than I'd seen her in a while. She had a big grin and her whole body was wagging. Other people were there at Mom's house, but there had been other people there all along, so that wasn't why the dog was happy. I honestly think she knew Mom is out of pain and at peace at last. And a couple days later, my brother was able to take the dog to the funeral home to see Mom's remains. She sniffed Mom's face, gave her a little kiss, then went to my brother with smiles and wags. He got it on video for us. Mom rescued her, she rescued Mom, and now she's rescuing my brother, the Mama's Boy. Mom would have been so happy to know that the dog would be able to say goodbye at the funeral home. I don't know if Mom knew it could be arranged. We only asked about it while we were finalizing Mom's arrangements. It was so nice that we could do that for the dog.
