What if you lost your phone? So dump from googles part.... I lost my authencitions in the app but fortunately all of them have also my phone so I can just receive a text instead, but still if your phone is lost or stolen, you cant scan any qr code and all your app is gone

For the rotation lock: A workaround is to have the rotation lock linked to triple/double back tap (in Accessibility).

The way I get around this is I set up a personal automation in Shortcuts that when I open, for example, RU-vid, it turns rotation lock off, but when I close RU-vid, it turn rotation lock back on.

You can _sort of_ preference which app will rotation lock or not, using automations in Shortcuts when an app, or selection of apps, is opened

I always keep my rotation lock on.. for RU-vid if you just swipe up on the video it will go full screen and swipe down on the full screen to go back .

One thing about Airdrop I wish Apple could make it better - to enable us doing it even when the receiving devices is locked or turned off (screen). I have a lot of photos to transfer and I hate to have to turn on my device with face ID because I have to move my head from what I am doing. It should be smart enough knowing that we are using Airdrop multiple time in a minute so it's secure. Only the owner using it.

I just today activated my very first iphone I have ever owned. Your video is helping me but there is one thing I don't understand. Air Drop??? There are multiple in app store and they are asking for monthly fee?? Do you pay monthly for yours?

AirDrop is built-into the iPhone. You don't need an app for it. You can change settings in Settings>General>AirDrop.

You can set this up as a personal automation through Shortcuts. I have mine set up, for example, when I open up the RU-vid app, it turns off rotation lock. Then when I close RU-vid, it turns rotation lock back on.

apple really can improve the auto rotation by using the sensors used for face id. it will sometimes auto rotate when i am in bed and they can use the sensors to prevent that. one of the huawei phones use the sensors to do this.

I like the haptic feedback on the keyboard but it totally drains the battery. I feel it’s better to have better battery life so i turned it off

This sucks, why cant you make a video for a completely new iphone owner and start slowly with 1, 2, 3 and so forth. Nope you have to jump to icloud and shit when I do not even know what icloud is.
