This does a lot to explain Hell's side of the story. Especially that both Charlie and Lilith have a lot in common when it comes to helping people. As for Lucifer him being a broken man/angel over what happened also explains why he's not up for Charlie's hotel in the first place at least at the moment.

Now this is one way to begin a series that the fandom has been waiting for since 2019. This backstory lore is so good, this is the origin of Heaven and Hell, and the origin of Charlie Morningstar, daughter of Lucifer and Princess of Hell.

MY POV I really like the concept of heaven, like an Utopia. And the designs for the angels are amazing. 0:01 Many people wonder where's God in the history, and, well SHE appears as Good next to Evil, Roo. That's why Charlie mention that angels worship Good and shield all from Evil. 0:09 The Elders of Heaven (there are six of them) I believe are the 7 Heavenly Virtues, the opposite of the 7 Deadly Sins. The last virtue maybe was Lucifer at that time (making them Lucifer's older siblings). 0:20 Lilith history's incluition represents good feminisim. 0:35 The apple that Lucifer and Lilith offers to eve, not only cursed the world. It cursed Eve turning her into Roo (probarly). 0:59 God/Good never expulsed Lucifer and Lilith from paradise, it was the rest of heaven. 1:18 Maybe the power that Lilith had in her voice and songs, was because of a deal she made. But I think that she already could sing before the fall. And maybe because of that the people in hell respect her more than Lucifer or the other sins. 1:35 The idea of the extermination that Sera allowed was actaully an idea from Adam (for his entertaming). 1:46 WHAT DO YALL THINK??

I find it interesting they're avoiding mentioning the Big G, but I imagine He would be a bit of a storybreaker.

I really like the protagonist of this show! I would even pay 50k to see an animation all about her, anyway out of topic but I like beatbox, anyone else does?

I don't see Lilith get a lot of attention, so seeing her be a primary player in Hell's rise is very interesting. It also seems that Lucifer is going yo be far less malicious and malevolent than we thought, which is a nice change of pace. Plus, the angel's designs are absolutely top-tier! Can't wait to see them in action! Although, I must say, this does add a new angle to Charlie's desire to reform sinners: Does she also wish to see Hell prosper beyond Heaven's limitations as well as her mother? And what does her father think of it, aside from his cynicism mentioned in the pilot? Here's to the hope that everything will work itself out, and no one under Charlie's watch gets erased along the way! Overall, FANTASTIC preview, the animation is all-around gorgeous, the voice acting is very solid, and the story looks really engaging! I'm excited for the rest of the season's release, Vivziepop and SpindleHorse!

I love these visuals so much, it's honestly amazing what they've done for this series! I especially like the storytelling and background cuz my history/mythology nerd brain likes when stories that are based on something are lore accurate, though it does make me sad that Lucifer isn't shown to be the one Charlie inherited her musical talent from. Lucifer was, after all, the angel who played music and sang like the angel he is. Buuuuut, that's just a meaningless nitpick I have of something that might be inconsequential. Unless it isn't, which in that case, I'll give the writers the benefit of the doubt to explain why this is overlooked or purposefully changed Either way, can't wait for the whole season to release cuz I have been waiting as long as everybody else for this lol Edit: Ok, nevermind, Lucifer wasn't actually the angel of music he's commonly referred to as. He's "an angel of light" first and foremost, which is what my research brought up. He was highly favored as a guardian angel (no joke, this is how he's described) and he was set upon a throne of fiery jewels and gemstones that magnified his beauty. It was because of his pride in himself and his ambition for the throne of heaven that he was cast out, but that's the Bible's take on him. I'm curious to see what this series does with him as a character, cuz if he's supposed to be this beautiful angel, I expect to see a ton of simps for him cuz that would be lore accurate lmao
